Manila, Philippines – Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor and Raffles Makati are partnering for a two-part bar takeover series that will see bartenders from the two luxury hotels exchange venues and showcase cocktails inspired by Cambodian and Filipino flavors.
Dubbed “Philippines to Cambodia x Cambodia to Philippines,” the events celebrate the shared heritage of the Raffles brand while highlighting local ingredients and contemporary mixology through collaborations with Maison Ferrand, Moonshine Cambodia, Citadelle and Planteray.
The series begins on July 18, when Kristian Torres, head bartender of Long Bar at Raffles Makati, takes over Elephant Bar at Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor in Siem Reap.

Torres will serve a menu of cocktails inspired by Philippine ingredients and flavors while reinterpreting classic drinks.
The exchange continues on August 14, when the Elephant Bar team heads to Manila.
Leading the event is Raffles Gin Butler Nisha, who will present gin-based cocktails showcasing Cambodian botanicals, local ingredients and Maison Ferrand spirits.
Among the featured creations is “Berry Suspicious,” made with Citadelle Rouge Gin, crème de fraise, Kampot pepper syrup, strawberry and basil purée, topped with a signature foam.
“It is an honour to represent Elephant Bar and Raffles Grand Hotel d’Angkor at Raffles Makati,” Nisha said.

“Through gin and the rich flavours of Cambodia, I look forward to creating moments that connect our two vibrant cultures – one cocktail at a time.”
According to Raffles, the initiative aims to spotlight the distinct drinking cultures of Cambodia and the Philippines while creating shared hospitality experiences through guest bartender exchanges.
