Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – Netflix Malaysia has launched a themed pop-up inspired by its popular series Wednesday, transforming Sunway Pyramid’s LG2 Blue Concourse into the eerie world of Nevermore Academy. Open to the public until 17 August, the Nevermore Academy: Malaysia Campus invites visitors to immerse themselves in a darkly whimsical school experience.
Upon arrival, visitors begin their journey at the Student Centre, where they receive a personalised Student ID and Report Card to guide them through various themed checkpoints. Completing each station earns a stamp, with a reward available for those who finish the full experience. Prizes are given out in limited quantities on a first-come, first-served basis.

The activation features a number of interactive zones, each reflecting elements from the show. Guests can explore the dimly lit Nightshade Library, experiment with colourful concoctions in the Alchemy and Transmutation class, and create eerie plant-based art in Elemental Botany.
Another highlight is Wednesday and Enid’s dorm room, where participants are tasked with locating hidden items belonging to the two characters. The journey concludes with a photo opportunity at the stained glass spiderweb window on the balcony—one of the series’ most iconic visuals.

Complementing the activation is a separate stunt currently taking place across Klang Valley: a giant mobile installation of “Thing,” the disembodied hand character from the show. Titled the Thingmobile, the oversized prop is the largest of its kind and is making surprise appearances at different locations until 10 August. The moving display adds a city-wide scavenger hunt element for fans hoping to catch a glimpse of the quirky spectacle.
This Nevermore Academy pop‑up in Malaysia arrives at a perfect moment—just ahead of the release of Wednesday Season 2, which launches on Netflix in two parts: the first four episodes on August 6, 2025, and the remaining four concluding on September 3, 2025.
