Gigi Coffee appoints Chariot Agency as its creative partner in Malaysia

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – Gigi Coffee, one of Malaysia’s fastest-growing specialty coffee chains with over 150 outlets nationwide, has appointed Chariot Agency as its creative partner.

Known for its vibrant, youthful branding and sleek, modern store design, Gigi Coffee resonates strongly with today’s urban lifestyle. The partnership with Chariot spans a wide creative scope—from seasonal drink campaigns and product launches to social-first content and purpose-led initiatives. 

The shared goal: to keep Gigi’s cheeky, lifestyle-first energy sharp, relevant, and culturally connected.

“Gigi’s always been about more than just coffee,” said Marcus Low, group CEO of Gigi Coffee. “It’s about creating simple, enjoyable moments through disruptive ideas—and Chariot understands how to bring that to life in a real, relatable way.”

Chariot’s role includes creative ideation, brand communications, campaign development, and social storytelling, with both teams working closely to bring ideas from concept to cup.

“There’s a natural chemistry between our teams,” said Adrian Cheah, managing director at Chariot. “Both Gigi and Chariot are born and bred in Malaysia, with the same drive to grow and make our mark in the region. We’re united by a love for ideas that disrupt, shift behaviour, and challenge the norm—and we’re excited to do that together.”

The new mandate follows Chariot Agency’s latest wins for PICO and PayNet for this year, as well as being the partner for the Selangor International Pickleball Tournament 2025.
