Coca-Cola sharpens global brand identity with new visual design system

United States — Coca-Cola has launched a new global visual identity system designed to create a more consistent and recognisable brand experience across its worldwide network of more than 200 markets.

The refresh aims to ensure that every consumer touchpoint, from packaging and retail environments to digital platforms and equipment, looks and feels unmistakably Coca-Cola.

Rolling out across Latin America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia, the new identity builds on some of the brand’s most recognisable assets, including its signature red-and-white colour palette, Dynamic Ribbon, Arden Square, and Spencerian script logo.

Instead of introducing a complete redesign, Coca-Cola has chosen to strengthen and elevate the visual elements that consumers already associate with the brand.

As part of the refresh, Coca-Cola Zero Sugar has evolved with its updated packaging featuring larger “Zero Sugar” text, a more prominent black Dynamic Ribbon on cans, and black bottle caps on PET bottles to create stronger distinction while maintaining alignment with the wider Coca-Cola brand family.

“Coca‑Cola is one of the most recognized brands in the world, and with that comes a responsibility to keep evolving,” said Arnab Roy, President, Coca‑Cola Global Category. “This refresh is about being clearer and more consistent in how we show up, wherever people experience our brand.”

Alongside the new visual identity, Coca-Cola has introduced an updated Brand Center and a set of technology-powered design tools designed to help internal teams and agency partners maintain consistency across campaigns, markets, and consumer experiences.

The company said the new system provides a scalable foundation that enables Coca-Cola to remain instantly recognisable while adapting to the evolving needs of consumers and modern marketing channels.

Rapha Abreu, Global Vice President of Design at The Coca‑Cola Company shared, “For over a century, Coca‑Cola has been a global symbol of optimism and authenticity. Now, with one seamless visual identity, we can deliver one recognizable brand experience to consumers.”

With the rollout now underway, the refreshed identity marks the latest step in Coca-Cola’s efforts to strengthen its global brand presence while building on the visual assets that have defined the company for generations.
