Singapore — Cheil SWA has appointed Sungkyoon Kim as president and CEO of its Southwest Asia operations, bringing three decades of expertise in marketing strategy, data analytics, and consumer psychology.
His appointment positions the agency to strengthen its data-driven capabilities and drive innovation across the region.
Before taking the role, he led Cheil Worldwide’s Digital Platform Business, overseeing Samsung.com, and directed the DnA (Data & Analytics) Center, where he spearheaded the agency’s CRM and data initiatives.
He was also instrumental in establishing Cheil’s Global Data Center in India, enhancing offshore R&D capabilities and boosting global operational efficiency.
Sungkyoon Kim’s extensive experience and strategic vision make him ideally placed to guide Cheil SWA through its next phase of growth and innovation.
Under his leadership, Cheil SWA plans to deepen its expertise in consumer insights, integrated marketing strategy, and data-led campaigns to deliver measurable impact across Southwest Asia.
