Castrol launches ‘Superbike Fest APAC 2026’ to unite regional rider communities

Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam – Castrol has launched the Castrol Superbike Fest APAC 2026, a regional initiative aimed at connecting superbike riders, workshops and performance brands across Asia-Pacific. The programme was unveiled on January 28 and is positioned as a long-term platform rather than a standalone event.

The three-day festival will take place in Nha Trang, Vietnam, from May 29 to 31, 2026. It is expected to bring together more than 2,000 riders from over 100 official biker clubs, alongside performance teams, racers and social riders from eight Asia-Pacific markets: Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, Laos, Cambodia and the Philippines.

According to Castrol, the festival forms part of its broader strategy to strengthen its premium positioning in the motorcycle category by combining performance, engineering, lifestyle and community engagement. The event is the flagship activation of the Castrol Superbike ASPAC Alliance, a regional platform designed to link rider communities, service partners and Castrol’s high-performance product portfolio.

“The Castrol Superbike Fest APAC 2026 is not a one-off event but is instead a long-term strategic platform that brings together performance and people united by an enduring passion for superbikes,” said Victor Cheong, marketing director at Castrol Asia Pacific.

“Superbike culture represents the pinnacle of aspiration, engineering and passion. By uniting this community across borders, we are elevating Castrol’s premium positioning and building deeper emotional connections with riders and workshops across the region,” he added.

Ahead of the festival, Castrol will organise an international cross-country riding tour, with participants from Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia and Laos travelling through regional routes to Vietnam. The tour is intended to symbolise cross-border connectivity within ASEAN.

The main event in Nha Trang will be staged across multiple urban and coastal locations, forming an integrated festival circuit. Activities will include superbike performance demonstrations, handling competitions, and adventure and off-road challenges involving other motorcycle categories.

The festival will also feature exhibitions of rare, custom and iconic superbikes, as well as interactive product and technology showcases. Cultural and lifestyle elements will include opening and closing parade rides, community networking sessions, and entertainment zones, alongside a welcome gala and an outdoor closing gala.

Following the main programme, participants will be able to join a post-festival touring journey covering more than 200 kilometres across Nha Trang, Ninh Thuan, Binh Thuan and Da Lat.

A central feature of the event is the Castrol HOMELAND Experience, where riders and workshop owners can take part in product trials, oil changes, technical inspections and live riding clinics. Castrol said the experience is designed to demonstrate the performance, reliability and durability of its lubricants in real-world riding conditions.

The Castrol Superbike Fest APAC is supported by the company’s premium product range, including Castrol POWER1 Ultimate, which is engineered for high-performance and extreme riding environments.

“Under the most demanding riding conditions – high speed, rugged terrain, and constant technical demands, Castrol lubricants cool, protect and perform to the highest standards, offering consistent outcomes throughout every challenge,” added Victor. “This is where premium is proven, not in words, but in action.”

Beyond performance, Castrol said the festival reflects the evolving lifestyle aspects of modern motorcycling, encompassing long-distance touring, customisation, social content creation and community-driven experiences across the region.
