S4Capital’s Monks appoints Bharti Agrawal as APAC CFO for marketing services

Singapore – S4Capital’s Monks has appointed Bharti Agrawal as chief financial officer for its marketing services business across Asia-Pacific, placing the Singapore-based executive at the centre of the firm’s regional expansion drive.

Agrawal will be based in Singapore and report to Jordi Covas, global CFO for marketing services. Her remit covers finance strategy, operations, and governance across APAC.

The appointment lands as competition among agency networks intensifies across the region’s so-called silicon islands.

Agrawal arrives with more than two decades in finance leadership roles spanning the UK, Brazil, and Southeast Asia.

Most recently she served as Southeast Asia CFO at Dentsu, overseeing finance across six markets and a team structure that included roughly 200 indirect reports.

“We are excited to have Bharti join us at this pivotal moment in our regional growth journey,” said Covas. He highlighted her experience running multi-market finance teams and working closely with business leaders would support the company’s momentum across Asia-Pacific.

Beyond the balance sheet, Agrawal’s brief includes tightening financial oversight as Monks scales its combined marketing and technology services offering in the region.

Before joining Monks, Agrawal spent several years at Dentsu managing reporting, forecasting, and commercial planning across Southeast Asia.

Earlier in her career she worked in transaction services and M&A at KPMG in both Brazil and the United Kingdom, advising corporates and private equity clients on cross-border deals across sectors ranging from telecoms to hospitality.

The move comes as global advertising groups sharpen their focus on Asia-Pacific, where rising consumer spending and mobile-first markets continue to attract marketing budgets despite bouts of volatility in regional equities.

“I’m thrilled to join Monks at such a pivotal moment,” Agrawal said, pointing to the region’s growth prospects and the firm’s push to expand its integrated marketing and technology services.

Kenny Griffiths, executive vice president at Monks APAC, said the hire strengthens the leadership bench as the region takes on a larger role in the company’s global growth plans.

Agrawal’s experience working across complex, multi-market operations would help the group scale and deepen client relationships across Asia-Pacific, he noted.
