Coca-Cola Europacific Aboitiz Philippines appoints Chris Pesigan as president and CEO

Manila, Philippines — Coca-Cola Europacific Aboitiz Philippines (CCEAP), the bottling partner and official distributor of Coca-Cola products in the Philippines, has appointed Ramon Christian “Chris” Pesigan as its new president and chief executive officer, effective January 2026.

Pesigan succeeds Gareth McGeown, who served as president and CEO of CCEAP for seven years. During his tenure, McGeown led the company through a period of growth and expansion in the Philippine market.

Pesigan joined CCEAP in 2013 and has held several senior leadership roles, including commercial go-to-market director and general trade director. He later served as commercial vice president for more than two years, where he oversaw initiatives aimed at strengthening the company’s commercial strategy and customer partnerships.

Commenting on his appointment, Pesigan said, “It is an honor to lead Coca-Cola Europacific Aboitiz Philippines at such a transformative and exciting time. My passion for our purpose has never been greater, and with our 9,000 empowered associates who remain our greatest strength, we are more driven than ever to deliver sustainable growth for our people, customers, and communities.”

McGeown, who will take on the role of vice president and general manager for Coca-Cola Europacific Partners’ Australia, Pacific, and Southeast Asia business unit, also shared his perspective on the leadership transition.

“Over the past years, I’ve had the privilege of leading CCEAP’s growth and witnessing the commitment of our teams who propelled us to greater success. Chris’ appointment is a testament to the strong foundation that we’ve built and I’m confident that he will build on the momentum as we continue our mission of refreshing the Philippines together.”

Moreover, CCEAP said the leadership transition continues the company’s long-standing presence in the Philippines, where Coca-Cola has operated for more than a century. The company added that its focus remains on driving sustainable growth while maintaining its role within the communities it serves.
