Volare Advertising Network and its continued quest to create impactful work beyond local recognition

Our What’s NEXT in Marketing 2026 Conference Series returns to the Philippines, Singapore, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia—and for the first time in Thailand! Brace yourself for bold ideas driving the next marketing wave. Click here to learn more!

At the NEXT Awards: Indonesia 2025, the Volare Advertising Network triumphed in the highly competitive Most Innovative Digital Agency of the Year category while also bagging gold for the Most Innovative Agency Team of the Year. Moreover, Eyden Indonesia–an agency part of Volare–secured the Agency of the Year title.

In an exclusive interview with MARKETECH APAC following the event, Pradhana H.S., CEO at Volare Advertising Network, highlighted how the wins reflect how their network works as one connected ecosystem.

“Every campaign is the result of close collaboration between Volare. Each team brings a different strength, but we always begin from the same question and the same goal,” he said.

Moreover, Pradhana noted how the awards are proof that true collaboration can turn a local network into a global-level creative force.

“There are no silos. Strategy, creative, media, and data teams work together from day one. Everyone owns the process and the results. That way of working keeps our ideas integrated, consistent, and impactful,” he added.

Human-centred philosophy behind Volare’s creative, digital edge

For Volare, creativity has always been about people first. What began nine years ago as a small agency with a simple dream—to help clients solve real business challenges—has grown into a network guided by the same core belief.

“We used to not have a large network or a long list of awards. What we had was a belief that creativity should make life easier and create real value for people,” said a Volare spokesperson. “That belief shaped everything we built afterward,” Pradhana said.

Today, that philosophy is deeply ingrained across the Volare Advertising Network. From Magnus, which drives digital transformation and experience design, to Eyden, its hub for creative tech and AI-led innovation, every team operates with a shared purpose: blending empathy, creativity, and technology in meaningful ways.

“We don’t treat innovation as a separate function. It is a shared mindset across the network,” Pradhana explained. “Every project starts with one question: what problem are we solving for people?”

This question anchors Volare’s creative process. Ideas grow from human insight, guided by technology and sharpened by strategic craft. The agency believes that true creative excellence happens when empathy meets innovation—when technology serves people, not the other way around.

“It is not about using technology for the sake of it, but about using it to create something truly useful and human,” he added. “Because at the end of the day, it is not the technology that makes a campaign relevant—it is the people behind it.”

That belief continues to drive Volare, Magnus, and Eyden forward—crafting campaigns that are not only future-ready but deeply human at their core.

Balancing Indonesian roots with global ambition

As a proudly homegrown and independent agency, Volare Advertising Network draws strength from its Indonesian identity while pushing creative boundaries on the regional stage.

“We are proud of being Indonesian and independent. Our culture shapes how we see the world and how we tell stories,” Pradhana said. “The humor, emotion, and sense of togetherness that define Indonesia give our work warmth and authenticity.”

For Pradhana, local insight is more than just a creative advantage—it’s the foundation for meaningful connection. The agency believes that ideas grounded in cultural nuance resonate more deeply with audiences because they speak to shared human experiences.

“We believe that local insight is the key to winning people’s hearts,” he explained. “By grounding our creativity in local flavor and real human understanding, we make work that feels relatable, genuine, and deeply impactful.”

Yet, even as Volare celebrates its Indonesian roots, it strives to meet global standards of excellence. The network places strong emphasis on strategic planning, data-driven insight, and creative discipline—ensuring that its ideas not only reflect local authenticity but also meet the expectations of international clients.

“We hold ourselves to international standards of strategy, craft, and execution,” he said. “We focus on showing that Indonesian agency creativity can stand tall on its own. Our work speaks both in a local language and with a global quality.”

To sustain this balance, Volare fosters a culture of continuous learning through initiatives like VAN Masterclass and quarterly knowledge-sharing sessions with partners. These programs are designed to keep teams sharp and forward-thinking amid fast-changing audience behaviours.

“We also extend this learning culture to our clients,” Pradhana added. “It’s about helping them grow not only in local competition but also in the global arena.”

This ongoing commitment to both local depth and global excellence defines Volare’s identity today—an Indonesian agency with a global mindset, creating ideas that connect across borders without losing their roots.

Turning data, empathy, and technology into award-winning ideas

Behind Volare Advertising Network’s creative success is a disciplined yet human-centred process that blends data, insight, and innovation. The agency follows what it calls the Sequential Explanatory Framework, a structured approach that begins with understanding patterns and ends with uncovering purpose.

“We start with big data to identify the hypothesis, then use small data to humanize and validate it,” explained Pradhana. “Big data tells us what’s happening, but small data reveals why people feel that way. That’s where our best insights—and eventually our best campaign ideas—come from.”

This dual-layered process allows Volare to move seamlessly from analysis to empathy. By collaborating closely with its digital and media teams, the agency ensures that every insight translates into ideas with real-world impact.

“We work hand in hand to turn insight into amplification, making sure each rollout is impactful across every touchpoint,” he said.

Technology also plays a key role in accelerating the creative journey. Volare’s teams leverage AI to identify creative patterns, visualise early directions, and refine storytelling precision.

“In short, it’s data that grounds us, humans that inspire us, and technology that empowers us,” he added.

Beyond process and tools, Volare cultivates a culture of learning and experimentation. Its VAN Masterclass, held every two weeks, serves as an internal development hub where teams explore new creative technologies, data tools, and platforms.

“From an HR perspective, these sessions are more than just internal sharing,” Pradhana shared. “They’re continuous development programs to strengthen both hard and soft skills across the network.”

Through these masterclasses, Volare’s talent hones technical expertise—such as emerging AI and digital tools—while also developing leadership, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

The result is a creative ecosystem where curiosity meets craft, enabling Volare to consistently produce work that’s not only award-winning but also deeply human and strategically sound.

Leading with trust, freedom, and purpose

For Volare Advertising Network, leadership isn’t about control—it’s about trust and clarity. The network’s leaders make sure that every team member knows the goals, but also has the freedom to explore different paths toward achieving them.

“Everyone knows what the goals are, but they also know that they have the freedom to experiment on the way there,” Pradhana said. “We believe results come naturally when people feel supported, respected, and inspired.”

That philosophy translates into a culture of openness and collaboration. Feedback flows freely across levels, and leaders are seen as mentors rather than managers.

“Leaders are there to guide, not control,” he explained. “We encourage honest discussion about what works and what doesn’t, and we celebrate learning as much as success.”

Volare also recognises that balance looks different for everyone. By giving employees the flexibility to work in ways that suit them best, the agency maintains a culture of energy and creativity.

“Each person has their own priorities and goals, and pursuing bigger ambitions often comes with trade-offs,” he said. “That’s why we apply a work-from-anywhere policy every Friday, giving our teams the freedom to refresh their minds and find new inspiration outside of routine spaces.”

This flexibility, Volare believes, helps keep creative energy alive—allowing ideas to flow naturally and teams to stay inspired.

Building a legacy for Indonesian creativity

As Volare expands its footprint across the region, the agency hopes to redefine what Indonesian creativity means on the global stage.

“We hope our story shows that great creativity can also come from Indonesia,” Pradhana said. “You don’t have to be based in Singapore, Korea, or Tokyo to create work that resonates across the region. You just need a strong vision, a united team, and the courage to build something different.”

For Volare, being different means standing for something—creating ideas that not only stand out but also connect deeply with culture and deliver real value to both brands and audiences.

“Our dream is to open more doors for Indonesian talent to shine on the regional and global stage,” he added. “If Volare’s journey can inspire others to stay, grow, and create from here, that will be our proudest legacy.”

The agency’s growing list of accolades is seen not as an endpoint, but as a reflection of shared effort and belief.

“These awards are not just our achievement. They are a thank you to our clients, partners, and teams who believed in us since the beginning,” he said. “Every project, every challenge, and every collaboration shaped who we are today—and this recognition proves one thing we’ve believed from day one: local creativity, when nurtured with purpose and heart, can go anywhere.”

****

At its core, Volare Advertising Network’s story is one of purpose, people, and progress. From its beginnings as a small independent agency in Indonesia to becoming a regional force in creativity and innovation, Volare has remained true to a simple but powerful philosophy—creativity should make life easier and more meaningful for people.

As Volare looks ahead, its ambition is not just to win more awards or expand further, but to redefine what Indonesian creativity can achieve on the world stage—work that connects cultures, inspires progress, and proves that great ideas truly know no borders.
