Philippines — Manulife Philippines has appointed Adnelle Valeza as its new chief of staff, strategy, and transformation, joining the company’s executive leadership team.
In her new role, Adnelle will focus on driving alignment across business initiatives to support operational efficiency, sustainable growth, and Manulife Philippines’ digital transformation efforts.
Adnelle brings nearly 30 years of international leadership experience in transformation, technology, and distribution, having worked across both large corporations and start-up environments. She has led initiatives focused on digital transformation, business growth, and the development of scalable sales and operational strategies.
Rahul Hora, president and CEO of Manulife Philippines mentioned Adnelle’s appointment is a pivotal step in strengthening the leadership team.
“Her extensive expertise in project management, technology strategy, and business transformation will be invaluable as we execute our strategic priorities and accelerate our efforts to become the number 1 choice of our customers in the Philippines,” Rahul said.
Before joining Manulife Philippines, Adnelle headed business strategy and transformation at a Philippine-based life insurer, where she developed strategic roadmaps for non-Bancassurance channel expansion and oversaw digital transformation programs.
She also previously held senior executive roles at a multinational insurer, managing regional M&A projects and digital strategy across Southeast Asia.
Manulife Philippines, a subsidiary of Canada-based Manulife Financial Corporation, has been operating in the country since 1907. Its parent company serves over 36 million customers worldwide through insurance, wealth management, and retirement services.
