Indonesia – MOVE has teamed up with the ASEAN Tourism Association (ASEANTA) to launch an integrated microsite designed to strengthen regional tourism integration and connectivity across Southeast Asia.
The ‘Discover Asean’ platform, launched in conjunction with ASEAN’s 58th anniversary, seeks to make cross-border travel in the region more accessible through a digital-first approach.
The unveiling was held at the ASEAN Secretariat in Jakarta, attended by Ni Luh Puspa, deputy minister of tourism of Indonesia; Nararya Soeprapto, deputy secretary-general of ASEAN; Eddy Krismeidi Soemawilaga, president of ASEANTA; as well as representatives from tourism associations and other stakeholders.

Accessible via the MOVE app’s homepage, the microsite features curated recommendations on food, culture, activities, and destinations across ASEAN member states. It also provides country-specific visa and travel document requirements, health and safety tips, and integrated booking options for flights, hotels, and local transport.
Content is sourced from the official Visit Southeast Asia portal, curated and endorsed by the National Tourism Organisations (NTOs) of member countries, along with original editorial material produced by MOVE’s content team.
Nadia Omer, CEO at MOVE, commented, “As an OTA born in Asean, our commitment is to further advance travel and tourism in ASEAN alongside the region’s key stakeholders.”
She continued, “This microsite serves as a digital gateway to boost tourism-driven economic progress across Asean countries. At the same time, it reinforces MOVE’s role as a key partner in driving the region’s digital transformation. We hope Discover Asean will make it easier for travellers to explore more of Southeast Asia in a more affordable and seamless way.”
