Singapore – Global communications agency Redhill has announced the appointment of Windy Anindya Putri as its country head of Indonesia

As country head, Putri will be working closely with Redhill’s management team and local stakeholders to oversee operational functions and develop new business in Indonesia, strengthening the agency’s presence and expanding its local network.

Putri enters her new role at Redhill with more than ten years of expertise in public relations, advertising, startups, and recruitment in Southeast Asia. Her most recent positions, as Marketing Director of Orbit Future Academy and Director of Orbit Jobs, both with PT Orbit Ventura Indonesia, allowed her to lead product launches in Indonesia while serving as the Head of Marketing at Carro, Southeast Asia’s first automotive unicorn. Earlier in her career, she also held the positions of Head of Marketing at Carro and Director of Orbit Jobs.

Dhaka, Bangladesh — The Bangladesh-based financial institution, AB Bank Limited, has announced the elevations of Syed Mizanur Rahman and K.M Mohiuddin Ahmed as deputy managing directors.

Rahman holds an extensive understanding of the banking industry as he has over 25 years of banking experience. Under his leadership Retail Banking Division, Agent Banking Division and Business Development Unit were established in AB Bank.

Before joining AB Bank, he worked for Dhaka Bank, IPDC, Bank Al Falah and United Commercial Bank. Over the years Rahman acquired extensive knowledge in different segments of the banking industry with a distinct focus on branch banking, retail, process transformation, business development and corporate communication.

On the other hand, Ahmed joined AB Bank in 2003. Having more than 19 years of experience in the bank, Ahmed worked in different positions at the Department of Accounts and Finance.

He has extensive experience in the arena of financial management, financial control, capital management, taxation, budgetary management etc. Ahmed has also worked as a core team member and track lead of the core business software up-gradation project of the bank.

Philippines — The Board of Directors of Union Bank of the Philippines has approved and confirmed the largest number of executive promotions ever done by the Bank with a total of 74 executive officers. Leading the newly-promoted executive officers is fifth-generation business leader Ana Aboitiz-Delgado, from executive vice president to senior executive vice president effective June 1, 2022.

In her previous roles as the UnionBank’s chief customer experience officer and chief digital channel officer, Delgado took great strides in growing UnionBank Online in terms of user base and features, transforming and re-branding of branches even during the pandemic, and creating the business models for self-service branches and Corporate Ark.

Additionally, she was key in the seamless signing of the game-changing deal between Citi and UnionBank last December 2021 and is now at the forefront of the ongoing integration of both banks.

The Board likewise approved and confirmed the extension of Edwin R. Bautista as the president and CEOofUnionBank until December 31, 2025. Bautista was appointed as the Bank’s president in 2016 and CEO in 2018. Bautista was responsible for starting the Bank’s digital transformation six years ago and has successfully put UnionBank’s name on the global digital map. Bautista was the driving force behind the acquisition of the consumer banking business of American banking giant Citi in the Philippines.

Bangkok, Thailand — Advertising agency GREY has promoted Kanaporn Hutcheson to chairwoman and named Thipayachand Hasdin as the new CEO of GREYnJ United Bangkok, effective immediately.

The move will put more focus on the studio’s expanding best-in-class capabilities and drive strategic growth for clients and the studio.

Hutcheson, who has over 25 years of experience in the industry, has been the CEO at GREYnJ United since 2020. Among her other achievements, she played a vital role in successfully launching the brand consultancy unit, 4Colors and developing the studio’s e-commerce and other capabilities.

Meanwhile, Hasdin joined as COO in 2020. Leading the operations team, the studio has moved to greater efficiency, innovative solutions addressing changing consumer needs, record-breaking growth, and a headcount expansion of 30 per cent. Singapore – Independent marketing cloud company InMobi has announced changes in its regional leadership lineup in the Asia-Pacific region. This is to aim at spearheading ad-based monetisation of its owned-and-operated and third-party properties through the InMobi Advertising Platform.

Philippines — Philippines-based MullenLowe TREYNA, a subsidiary of global integrated marketing communications network MullenLowe Group headquartered in the United Kingdom, has announced a series of key promotions in their business, public relations, executive, and leadership divisions.

Both Raya Beron and Stephanie Velasco are appointed as senior business managers. Meanwhile, Kathryn Nadela, with her strong experience in regionally-led brands, steps up to be the new business unit director. Sydney, Australia – Full-service media independent agency This is Flow has announced the promotion of former digital lead Matt Papasavva as the agency’s newest managing director. Singapore – Advertising company Wunderman Thompson has elevated former CEO for ANZ Lee Leggett to the company’s role of chief growth officer for Asia-Pacific. Through the new role, she will lead the strategic growth for the network with a focus on new business and key clients across the region.

In addition, Wunderman Thompson has also announced the elevation of Matt Parry, former managing director for the agency’s Sydney office, to the position of CEO for Australia.

With more than 20 years of digital and international experience, Leggett first joined Wunderman Thompson in June 2020. Through her tenure as CEO for ANZ, the company has clocked in several achievements, including the appointment as UNDP’s global digital experience agency and business wins including the University of Melbourne, Department of Education and NSW Rural Fire Service.
