Singapore – The Singaporean Thomson-East Coast Line (TEL) has reached its fourth stage, marking a pivotal moment for TEL’s role as a ‘National Gateway’ and aiming to set a new standard in the transit advertising landscape.

To contribute to the success of the opening, Etiqa Insurance Singapore added a station dominance concept to give a distinct feel to the station, with an interactive game by adtech company Asiaray to engage commuters.

For Etiqa’s station dominance concept, the insurance provider collaborated with their media agency, Hearts & Science Singapore as part of their latest brand campaign, ‘With You for the Ride.’

The concept includes extensive designs on the glass lift panels, stair risers featuring floor stickers, and 76 panels of platform screen doors. This thoughtful approach ensures that Etiqa Insurance Singapore’s presence supports commuters at every step, enriching their journey with meaningful engagement.

At the concourse level, Etiqa Insurance Singapore worked closely with Asiaray’s ad tech team in Hong Kong to develop an interactive game on an expansive 86-inch digital screen. Commuters can participate by scanning a QR code with their mobile phones, immersing themselves in dynamic digital quests and opportunities to win exciting prizes.

Talking about this integration, Shirley Tan, chief marketing officer at Etiqa Insurance Singapore, highlights, “The ‘With You for the Ride’ campaign showcases Etiqa Insurance Singapore’s dedication to humanising insurance and making it relatable to the aspirations and dreams of Singaporeans. Our ongoing campaign at Marine Parade station invites all Singaporeans to embark on life’s journey together with Etiqa Insurance Singapore as your trusted partner, transforming life’s uncertainties into enriching experiences.”

Meanwhile, Vincent Lam, chairman and executive director at Asiaray Media Group Limited, commented, “We are thrilled to partner with Etiqa Insurance Singapore. Their involvement in the launch of Stage 4 of the TEL underscores the strategic effectiveness of our advertising solutions. Our joint efforts not only enhance brand visibility but also create a lasting connection with the commuting community.”

Singapore – Out-of-home (OOH) media company Asiaray and independent programmatic digital out-of-home (pDOOH) adtech company Hivestack has launched a pDOOH campaign for mobile on-demand services platform Gojek alongside Singapore’s Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) rail network via The Trade Desk’s demand side platform (DSP).

The campaign is launched on the Thomson-East Coast Line (TEL). To launch the pDOOH campaign, Asiaray used proximity geofencing to activate Gojek’s ‘GOTOMALLS’ campaign on DOOH screens along the TEL line.

In the coming months, Asiaray will expand its digital inventory to additional TEL stations including digital floor, wall and ceiling mounted screens. This premium inventory is on for approximately 16 hours a day and is available for advertisers to reach their audiences with precise targeting during their daily travel.

Vincent Lam, chairman and executive director at Asiaray, said, “We are glad to have partnered with Hivestack again to support Gojek on the ‘GOTOMALLS’ campaign. This is another implementation of Asiaray’s unique ‘Outdoor and Online (O&O)’ new media strategy to provide our hallmark DOOH+ solution delivering fruitful results to both our customers and partners.”

He added, “Looking ahead, Asiaray will continue to build on TEL’s role of ‘National Gateway’ with innovative advertising solutions that will brighten the passengers’ journey, and thus creating better values for advertisers as well as the brands.”

Meanwhile, Matt Bushby, managing director at Hivestack ANZ and SEA, commented, “We are thrilled to have launched the first ever programmatic DOOH campaign along Singapore’s latest Thomson East-Coast Line (TEL) following the announcement of our partnership with Asiaray in March. It’s an exciting time in Singapore as the streets are busy again and audiences are on the move, posing an unmissable opportunity for brands, agencies and omnichannel DSPs to activate DOOH with precision and scale.”

Shanghai, China – Programmatic digital out-of-home (DOOH) adtech Hivestack has extended its partnership with Asiaray Media Group, an out-of-home (OOH) media company with a strategic focus on mega transport advertising media management. This partnership is already active in Hong Kong SAR and Singapore, and now in Mainland China.

Through this extended partnership, Asiaray will be offering both domestic and international buyers the opportunity to activate programmatic DOOH campaigns via Private Marketplace (PMP) deals through the Hivestack SSP and direct deals via the Hivestack Ad Server.

Moreover, the partnership will be enabling local and global brands, agencies, and omnichannel DSPs to drive additional scale through programmatically activated DOOH campaigns across Asiaray’s premium transport media inventory in major airports including Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Tianjin, Haikou, Xiamen, Chengdu, Kunming, Zhuhai, and Zhengzhou, as well as in key metro stations across Beijing.

Aileen Ku, Hivestack’s general manager for China, commented, “We are excited to partner with Asiaray in mainland China to drive further business growth for brands, agencies and omnichannel DSPs looking to benefit from the power of programmatic DOOH. Through this partnership with Asiaray, we are thrilled to provide more flexibility for advertisers to target audiences at unprecedented scale through programmatic activation via the Hivestack SSP and Ad Server.”

Meanwhile, Troy Yang, Hivestack’s managing director for North Asia, shared that the addition of Asiaray as one of their important media partners in Mainland China was another huge milestone for Hivestack as they continue to drive their business growth across North Asia.

“The partnership provides domestic and international marketers with the opportunity to further reach audiences across the region with even broader coverage across premium sites leveraging Hivestack’s leading programmatic technology,” said Yang.

Vincent Lam, chairman, CEO and founder at Asiaray Media Group, noted, “We are excited to extend our partnership with Hivestack, the industry pioneer for programmatic DOOH, and offer our clients a way to drive added reach and impact as a part of their omnichannel plans. Through this partnership, we look forward to leveraging the Hivestack platform to accelerate the adoption of programmatic DOOH in Greater China.”

Just recently, Hivestack has announced its official membership to Prebid.org, an organisation that oversees open source prebid programmatic advertising solutions. Through this, Hivestack will be able to further support its efforts in driving the adoption of an open-source unified auction framework for programmatic DOOH and join its peers to help build and shape the ad tech ecosystem.

Hong Kong – Out-of-home media company Asiaray has partnered up with adtech The Trade Desk and advertising platform Magnite in offering a programmatic digital out-of-home (DOOH) transactional platform to ease up DOOH media trade across online and offline platforms, benefiting marketers in the process.

The newest partnership is in line with Asiaray’s ongoing Offline and Online New Media Strategy, which seeks creating connection between offline DOOH media and programmatic advertising.

With Magnite’s omnichannel sell-side advertising platform, Asiaray will be able to advertise DOOH billboards in Hong Kong via The Trade Desk, which then provides marketers additional media buying options as well as creating a new channel for Asiaray to reach out to potential online marketers worldwide.

“Given the proliferate growth of DOOH, we are delighted to have secured new programmatic cooperation with two of the world’s major adtech players – Magnite and The Trade Desk. This campaign makes a key milestone for Asiaray’s Offline and Online New Media Strategy, which created a strong connection between offline DOOH media and online advertisement buying,” said Vincent Lam, founder, chairman and executive director of Asiaray.

He also added, “What is more, the cooperation will provide us a chance to reach out to a different group of usual online advertisers, thus to expand our clientele and eventually expand the Group’s penetration in the market. Looking ahead, Asiaray will continue to work closely with our partners to develop even more effective media solutions for advertisers to generate greater value for the campaign.”

The new partnership also entails facilitating advertisers with technology supporting audience segmentation and verification measurement to adopt a flexible way for buying and to help brands to deliver a more targeted, unified and holistic experience to consumers.

“This campaign shows the immense possibilities for buyers when combining a high impact format like DOOH with the automated buying of Programmatic Guaranteed, which still allows flexible targeting but guarantees access to premium inventory. We are proud to have worked with our partners to facilitate this important milestone, and look forward to running more campaigns in the near future,” said Yogesh Sehgal, country manager for Magnite Asia.

On the other hand, Doug Choy, senior director for inventory partnerships at The Trade Desk, said, “In this world of new technologies, programmatic buying in advertising is certainly a growing trend, and The Trade Desk is delighted to partner with Asiaray and Magnite to introduce our first offline media resources. Marketers now have the opportunity to access inventory for DOOH billboards in Hong Kong through our platform, thereby helping them achieve their greater business objectives. In all, we are very excited in our continued partnership with Asiaray as we help advertisers shift to programmatic buying.”
