Singapore – Actor David Corenswet has teamed up with the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) for a new promotional video that spotlights a series of elevated experiences across the city-state during his first visit.
Corenswet, known for his lead role in Superman (2025) and its upcoming sequel Man of Tomorrow (2027), appears in the film engaging in what STB describes as Singapore’s “High Life” offerings. The video features him trying indoor skydiving at iFly Singapore with world champion Kai Minejima-Lee, and walking the elevated trails of Henderson Waves with local residents and their pets.
The actor also visited Bird Paradise, where he encountered rainbow lorikeets and Sally, an Oriental Pied Hornbill popular with visitors. His itinerary continued at Mandai Rainforest Resort by Banyan Tree, where he spent time among treetop views overlooking the Upper Seletar Reservoir.
Reflecting on the experience, Corenswet said, “The Grand Prix roared, no doubt, but the real noise came from the fans flooding downtown to cheer on the teams. Felt like all of Singapore was in attendance, not to mention visitors from around the world. Beyond the night race, I tried indoor skydiving— felt pretty good about myself until the world champ spun circles around me.”
He added, “Less than an hour later I was walking above the trees, looking down at skyscrapers tangled in jungle and making friends with a hornbill. It’s a metropolis nestled in a wild, natural landscape. Worth experiencing for yourself.”
STB said the partnership aims to showcase how Singapore’s size and transport connectivity make it easy for visitors to explore contrasting experiences — from outdoor adventures to nature encounters — within short distances.
Tan Yen Nee, executive director, brand at Singapore Tourism Board, said, “We are thrilled to partner David, who showcased Singapore’s ‘high life’ from a completely fresh perspective. This collaboration is all about creating deeper connections with international audiences through authentic storytelling that resonates. The video captures our latest ‘We don’t wait for fun’ campaign spirit, speaking directly to Gen Zs and Millennials, who seek unique and memorable experiences. We hope to give international visitors a glimpse of Singapore’s distinctive offerings and inspire them to come and discover Singapore for themselves.”
The video was filmed in October alongside the Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix 2025 and features locations both within and beyond the Marina Bay street circuit.
This is not the first time STB has worked with celebrities in the past to highlight some of the island-nation’s tourist attractions and events. In August this year, the tourism board teamed up with K-pop artist JISOO to release a special video for “Your Love,” a track from her new mini album AMORTAGE–and was filmed at Mandai Wild Reserve.
Music videos from foreign artists also play a huge role in STB’s collaboration with celebrities. In May, STB and BIGHIT MUSIC teamed for BTS Jin’s music video ‘Don’t Say You Love Me’ which spotlights iconic landmarks in Singapore. Moreover, OneRepublic also shot the music video for ‘Singapore’ from their ‘Artificial Paradise’ in Singapore which showcased the ‘sights and sounds’ of the country.
