Japan – PubMatic has named Takeo Hori senior director of advertiser solutions in Japan, strengthening its demand-side leadership in the market.
Hori was previously head of sales at Teads. He also held leadership roles at Microsoft Japan, where he oversaw advertising agency partnerships, and at Index Exchange, where he led the launch of its demand-side business in Japan.
In his new role at PubMatic, Hori will be responsible for demand-side sales, including outreach to advertisers and agencies, as well as new business development.
Speaking about his new role, Takeo stated, “I am truly honoured to join PubMatic and contribute to the wider digital advertising industry.”
He continued, “Over the years, I have gained in-depth knowledge of supply-side technologies. My experiences have fuelled my passion for delivering real media value to advertisers, and I aim to leverage my expertise to promote a deeper understanding and wider adoption of the Open Web’s value within the Japanese market.”
With this appointment, Hori will report to Ken Aihara, country manager for Japan.
