Manila, Philippines — Philippine Digital Asset Exchange (PDAX) has launched a conversation-based video series titled “Tara, Bonding Tayo!” (Come on, let’s bond!), focusing on money, investing, and financial goals as Filipinos reassess their priorities for 2026.
Hosted by television personality Boy Abunda, the series features discussions on how Filipinos from different backgrounds approach money, responsibility, and long-term financial security. Rather than concentrating on technical financial concepts or specific products, the episodes centre on personal experiences and everyday financial decision-making, including how money affects relationships and family dynamics.
The programme includes appearances by media personality Sam YG, who discusses his preference for investing in government bonds as a more stable financial approach, and registered financial planner Randell Tiongson, director of the Registered Financial Planner Institute (RFPI), who outlines practical steps Filipinos can take towards long-term financial planning. Actress and television host Dianne Medina also shares her experiences navigating financial challenges and rebuilding stability for her family.
In his opening for the series, Abunda said, “Wealth can mean many things. For some, it’s peace of mind. For others, it’s time, freedom, or legacy. But one thing is for sure—everyone deserves a shot at creating their own definition of wealth. You could do it alone, but you don’t have to. This is where real journeys meet real lessons.”
According to PDAX, the series forms part of its broader efforts to promote financial literacy and wider participation in investing among Filipinos.
PDAX is a Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas-licensed virtual asset service provider and has previously introduced initiatives such as Project Bayani, which explored the tokenisation of Philippine government bonds. A white paper associated with the project estimated that the country’s tokenised asset market could reach US$60 billion by 2030 across various asset classes.
The exchange has also been involved in the digital distribution of the Bureau of the Treasury’s Retail Treasury Bonds through its licensed broker-dealer, PDAX Securities Inc. (formerly bonds.ph Inc.), enabling access to government-backed investments via digital platforms.
PDAX said the series is intended to encourage more open conversations about money and financial planning, particularly among Filipinos balancing personal responsibilities and long-term ambitions.
