Mumbai, India – Jio BlackRock Investment Advisers Private Limited, a 50:50 joint venture between Jio Financial Services Limited and BlackRock Inc., has appointed Madhurita Sengupta as chief marketing officer. In this role, she will lead the firm’s brand strategy, customer engagement, and digital marketing initiatives.
Madhurita brings nearly two decades of experience across marketing, digital sales, and customer experience. She has previously held senior leadership positions at Amazon Web Services, DBS Bank, Vodafone India, and HSBC, leading initiatives in brand building, customer journeys, and data-driven marketing.
Her work has focused on moving organisations beyond transactional marketing toward personalised experiences that foster long-term customer relationships.
At JioBlackRock Investment Advisers, she will oversee the development of a purpose-led brand aimed at making high-quality investment advice more accessible, transparent, and intuitive for Indian investors.
Madhurita holds an MBA from XLRI Jamshedpur. Outside of her professional work, she is an enthusiast of technology, a keen explorer of new cultures, and a follower of Hindustani classical music.
