India — The World Pickleball League (WPBL) has appointed Komerz India, the Indian arm of UK-based Komerz Global, as its exclusive sales and sponsorship agency. The mandate covers central sponsorship assets, commercial rights, and monetisation initiatives across the league’s flagship events and community platforms.
The partnership was facilitated by AMP Sports & Entertainment, WPBL’s exclusive strategic partner, which will work with Komerz India to identify and develop commercial opportunities for the league.
Komerz, which specialises in omni-channel commerce solutions, will lead sales, sponsorship and partnership development for WPBL, with AMP providing support on strategy and brand alignment.
The collaboration offers three main opportunities for brands: visibility and hospitality at Season 2 in Mumbai; year-round engagement through more than 57 WPBL On Tour events; and hyperlocal activations via franchise integrations at city-level tournaments.
WPBL said the partnership supports its ambition to position pickleball as a mainstream sport and lifestyle choice in India, giving brands additional pathways for storytelling, visibility, and long-term association.
