Singapore — Global marketing insight consultancy Human8 has announced a series of leadership appointments across APAC and the UK, reinforcing its ambition to build a more agile, culturally attuned agency model for a rapidly changing world.
The appointments underscore a strategic shift towards speed, consumer closeness, and cultural relevance, with APAC positioned as a key growth engine.
At the centre of this regional focus is the appointment of Katie McClintock as managing director, APAC, based in Singapore. McClintock was also recently appointed last year as the head of client development.
McClintock brings more than two decades of regional leadership experience from organisations including PepsiCo, Mastercard, and Kantar, and succeeds founding APAC leader Maz Amirahmadi, who retires after a 40-year career in market research and 16 years shaping Human8’s presence in the region.
The APAC appointments form part of a broader global leadership refresh that also includes the appointment of Jane Bloomfield as managing director UK, bringing together Human8’s UK consumer insights and cultural strategy capabilities under a single leadership.
Alongside McClintock’s appointment, Human8 has introduced a streamlined APAC regional structure designed to enhance client impact and decision-making agility.
Jason Spencer has been named head of Greater China, overseeing Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, while Daniel Teixeira takes on the role of head of Southeast Asia and Australia. Karen Khao continues as head of Hong Kong.
Commenting on the changes, Katie McClintock, managing director APAC, said, “APAC is dynamic and diverse. Our streamlined structure gives us the focus and agility to partner more deeply with clients across Greater China and SEAA. By integrating cultural insight with human understanding, we’ll deliver strategies that are both actionable and locally resonant.”
Tim Wragg, CEO of Human8, said, “These changes are about more than growth, they’re about shaping Human8 for a changing world. Through tech-enabled collaboration, cultural insight and our global insight communities, we turn deep human understanding into bold strategies at pace. That’s how we ignite the human spark that grows brands, helping them stay close to consumers and thrive in complexity.”
