Singapore – foodpanda has expanded its quick-commerce grocery operations in Singapore with the launch of two new pandamart XL stores in Kallang and Yio Chu Kang, as consumers increasingly turn to on-demand delivery for larger, more deliberate grocery purchases.
The upsized outlets are designed to support bigger baskets and wider assortments, reflecting a shift away from last-minute convenience orders towards full pantry restocks.
“Across Singapore, we’re seeing our customers shop more intentionally. They’re planning better, spending smarter and stocking up in a single go. pandamart XLs are precisely built for this reason – to offer our customers more products, better value for their money, and with the same convenience they love,” said Bhavani Mishra, managing director of foodpanda Singapore.
Each pandamart XL carries around 30% more products than a standard pandamart, including everyday staples, fresh produce, ready-to-eat meals, household essentials, and a broader mix of imported and locally in-demand items, delivered within an hour.
The Kallang and Yio Chu Kang openings follow a successful pilot in Redhill in 2025, bringing the total number of pandamart XL stores in Singapore to three, with inventory planning guided by hyperlocal demand trends.
The expansion coincides with the release of foodpanda’s inaugural Kiasu Pasar Report, which shows quick-commerce becoming embedded in daily shopping routines rather than serving purely as a last-minute solution.
“Quick-commerce has evolved beyond convenience; it’s now part of Singapore’s daily shopping rhythm,” said Axelle Guibert, director of quick-commerce at foodpanda Singapore.
“With our new pandamart XLs, we’re delivering both speed and scale—giving shoppers more choice and better value, all closer to home,” Guibert added.
