Sepang, Malaysia – AirAsia has launched a partnership with indoor fitness competition HYROX APAC, aligning fitness, lifestyle and travel to connect communities across ASEAN and the wider Asia Pacific region.
Under the partnership, AirAsia and HYROX will introduce a series of community-driven initiatives and on-ground activations beyond race days, engaging fitness enthusiasts while highlighting travel for active lifestyles. AirAsia will also collaborate with selected HYROX Training Club gyms to stay connected with the HYROX community. Key focus markets include Osaka (Japan), Bangkok, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Incheon (South Korea), with additional destinations across the region to be supported in the coming months.
During the official announcement, AirAsia and HYROX also unveiled a co-branded aircraft livery themed “Keep Moving, Keep Rising”, symbolising movement, progress, and the power of travel to connect fitness communities across and beyond ASEAN.

As part of the 2026 HYROX calendar, AirAsia will serve as the title partner for two flagship events—AirAsia HYROX Jakarta (6–7 June 2026 at Nusantara International Convention Exhibition, NICE) and AirAsia HYROX Kuala Lumpur (December 2026). These debut host cities are expected to welcome thousands of athletes and spectators, transforming race weekends into vibrant fitness-led travel experiences.
Beyond these events, AirAsia will support additional HYROX races throughout 2026 through integrated travel packages and community-focused initiatives, to be announced later this year.
Participants registered for selected HYROX races partnered with AirAsia in 2026 will receive an exclusive 10% discount on flights within a designated period during their initial registration, making travel to race events more accessible.
The partnership, built on a shared belief in inclusivity, accessibility, and community, aims to support the region’s growing fitness movement. It allows HYROX athletes, participants, and fans to travel seamlessly to key host cities, turning travel into an enabler of meaningful experiences and shared ambition.

Amanda Woo, chief commercial officer of AirAsia X, said, “Sports has always been a huge part of AirAsia’s DNA as we uphold our ‘Dare to Dream’ value. Since our inception, we have partnered with renowned global sporting platforms, from Asean football to the Southeast Asian (SEA) Games to the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), and our very own AirAsia RedRun, which we introduced last year.
“Our partnership with HYROX comes at the right time, as fitness becomes a global lifestyle movement. With AirAsia’s network spanning over 130 destinations and AirAsia MOVE as a one-stop platform for flights and hotels, we can offer seamless travel experiences that bring people closer to the sports they love. Through this partnership with HYROX, we look forward to continuing our mission to bring communities together,” she added.
HYROX has established a strong following globally through its mass-participation fitness races, attracting a diverse community of athletes and enthusiasts. Across Asia Pacific, the brand has staged events in 10 cities, drawing over 196,000 participants, reflecting the region’s growing appetite for fitness, wellness, and experiential sports.
The AirAsia-HYROX partnership aligns with the rise of sports and lifestyle travel, positioning both brands at the intersection of fitness, community, and mobility. United by a shared mission to empower communities and make meaningful experiences more accessible, AirAsia and HYROX aim to inspire purposeful travel across the region.
Gary Wan, managing director at HYROX APAC, said, “HYROX is more than a race; it is a lifestyle and sport built around community, consistency and shared ambition. Partnering with AirAsia allows us to better support our athletes and fans by making travel across the region more accessible, while strengthening HYROX’s presence in key markets.”
