ION Orchard enlivens Chinese New Year with ‘Prosperity in Flow’ campaign

Singapore – ION Orchard is celebrating Chinese New Year with Prosperity in Flow (骏跃新程), a festive campaign running until March 2026 that brings traditional performances, symbolic design, and cultural rituals to the heart of Orchard Road. 

Welcoming the Year of the Horse, the campaign centres on themes of movement, renewal and abundance, transforming the mall into a vibrant destination for seasonal celebration.

The festivities come alive through a series of twin lion dance and war drum performances held at L1 Outdoor, ION2, with additional in-mall blessings across key locations. 

Taking place on February 17, 18, 21, 22, and 28, as well as March 1, 2026, the performances showcase dynamic choreography and rhythmic beats that symbolise prosperity and good fortune.

A highlight on February 23 will feature a high pole lion dance performance at ION2 facing the Cartier entrance, followed by blessings throughout the mall.

Adding to the festive atmosphere, a roving God of Fortune mascot will make appearances on February 17, 18, and 21 from, engaging shoppers and spreading auspicious cheer. 

ION Orchard will remain open throughout the Chinese New Year public holidays on February 17 and 18, 2026, with seamless access from Orchard MRT.

“ION Orchard’s Prosperity in Flow campaign reimagines luxury for Chinese New Year by harmoniously blending cultural heritage, contemporary design, and immersive experiences,” said Yeo Mui Hong, chief executive officer of Orchard Turn Developments.

“Featuring the world’s most prestigious maisons, the space invites shoppers to explore bold, unique pieces. At ION Orchard, we hope to create multi-sensory, bespoke moments where shopping, dining and celebration converge,” she added.
