Agoda, JCB join forces to enhance travel experiences for travellers across Asia

Singapore – Agoda and JCB International Co., Ltd. are embarking on a three-year partnership, offering customers enhanced travel experiences and exclusive reward privileges.

The collaboration, formalised at the 18th JCB World Conference, runs from April 2026 to March 2029 and will combine Agoda’s digital travel expertise with JCB’s trusted payments network.

Together, both companies aim to create a more rewarding journey for travellers through co-marketing initiatives, exclusive campaigns, and data-driven insights to better engage with inbound travellers to Japan.

“Agoda and JCB share a commitment to making travel more rewarding and accessible for customers across Asia,” said Damien Pfirsch, chief commercial officer at Agoda.

“This partnership is a testament to the trust we’ve built and our shared vision to strengthen inbound travel to Japan and expand opportunities for travellers in the region. By combining Agoda’s technology and reach with JCB’s strong brand and customer base, we are well-positioned to deliver meaningful benefits and new experiences for our users,” he added.

Under the agreement, JCB cardmembers can enjoy exclusive discounts of up to 12% on hotel bookings through dedicated Agoda pages in markets including Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, the Philippines, South Korea, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, and India.

The partnership arrives as Japan continues to be a top destination on Agoda, recording a 35% increase in searches in the first half of 2025 alone.

“We are proud to partner with Agoda to deliver even greater benefits to our travelling card members,” said Masaki Yokawa, president & CEO of JCB International Co., Ltd.

“As part of this partnership, JCB cardmembers can look forward to even more convenience, exclusive privileges, and a seamless payment experience as they explore destinations across Asia. We endeavour to make every step of the travel and shopping experience smoother and more rewarding for our cardmembers across the region,” he asserted.

As Asia’s middle class continues to rise and intra-regional travel flourishes, this long-term partnership underscores both brands’ shared mission to make travel more frictionless, personalised, and delightful.
