Manila, Philippines – SM Megamall, one of SM Prime Holdings’ largest supermalls, announced the opening of various global brands from Hong Kong, Seoul, Tokyo, and more this year.
According to Manila Bulletin’s latest report, the openings mark SM Megamall’s ‘new era,’ blending food, fashion, and global brands in one place.
First to open in March are South Korea’s Super Matcha and Japan’s Mo-Mo Paradise.
Super Matcha is known for its premium, sugar-free matcha blends and is set to open its doors at the mall’s Mega Fashion Hall.

Mo-Mo Paradise, on the other hand, will be located on the third level of the same hall. The restaurant is best known for its shabu-shabu and sukiyaki offerings, with authentic Japanese hotpot cuisine overall.

Moreover, Hong Kong’s famous Cheung Hing Kee is set to open in May this year, bringing pan-fried buns and the art of ‘Sheng Jian Bao’ to the country. The store will be located on Mega A’s ground level.

Ahead of these openings, South Korea’s Salady, Hong Kong’s Mak’s Noodle, Pop Mart, and Malaysian fashion brand Christy Ng have opened their store doors in the mall, further expanding its roster of international retail and dining offerings.
Joaquin San Agustin, SM Supermalls executive vice president for marketing, commented, “As SM Supermalls continues to evolve, we remain committed to elevating everyday experiences by bringing in exceptional brands guided by our ‘all for you’ promise—where our customers are at the heart of everything we do.”
Currently, Megamall operates over 700 outlets across two main buildings, along with the specialised Mega Fashion Hall, an ice skating rink, and a trade hall.
