Manila, Philippines — Shopee is celebrating a decade of operations in the Philippines with a holiday campaign bringing back three of its past ambassadors: Vice Ganda, Kim Chiu, and Jose Mari Chan. The campaign recognises the Filipino community that has contributed to the growth of online shopping in the country.
The #Shopee10Pasko campaign also features a film in which the three ambassadors revisit signature looks and moments from their earlier campaigns, combining nostalgia with a contemporary perspective. The campaign also highlights familiar jingles, punchlines, and holiday countdowns that have become associated with the platform’s festive campaigns.
Vincent Lee, head of Shopee Philippines, said, “A decade here taught us that e-commerce works best when you listen. Filipinos shaped how we built Shopee here. We learned how people shop, celebrate, and support each other, and we adapted from there.”
He added, “It shaped everything from our payment and delivery experience to how we bring excitement into every sale season. We didn’t just grow in the Philippines; we grew by learning with this community. This reunion is our way of saying thank you for welcoming Shopee into everyday life.”
Aside from the campaign film, Shopee is also launching several holiday activities for shoppers where users can share their favourite Shopee memories on social media with #Shopee10Pasko for a chance to receive surprise vouchers.
Between December 1 to 12, in-app vouchers worth ₱1,200 will also be distributed daily through the Shopee 12.12 Voucher Pamasko promotion. Additionally, ‘Shopee Unboxed’ offers a personalised year-in-review feature that allows users to revisit their key milestones on the platform over the past decade.
Looking ahead, Shopee plans to continue improving delivery services, including faster shipping to VisMin regions through new air routes, additional local warehouses, and Fulfilled by Shopee, where orders are packed and shipped directly by Shopee teams.
Lee added, “Our investment in VisMin is personal to us. Fast delivery shouldn’t only be a Metro Manila experience; every Filipino deserves convenience and access, wherever they live.”
Shopee’s initiatives also include supporting micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), local brands, and creators, aiming to expand digital opportunities for more Filipinos.
