Mumbai, India — Laqshya Media Group has announced the launch of Laqshya StoryWorks, a new division focused on producing original fiction and non-fiction content across digital platforms.
Laqshya StoryWorks will produce a range of content, including long-form series, short digital formats, fiction, non-fiction, and immersive branded work. Output will be designed for platforms such as OTT, social media, broadcast, and live events, with AI tools incorporated to enhance speed, creativity, and personalisation.
Industry veteran Ravi Kudesia has been appointed vice-president and business head of the division and brings more than 25 years of experience across television, digital, print, and radio, most recently serving as head of special projects and branded content at ABP Network.
The introduction of Laqshya StoryWorks comes amid increased demand for immersive content formats as brands look beyond traditional advertising. According to the company, the new division expands its integrated capabilities to include the conceptualisation, production, and distribution of entertainment and infotainment properties, as well as technology-led brand narratives.
Speaking on the launch, Alok Jalan, Chairman and Managing Director of Laqshya Media Group, said, “We see a tremendous opportunity at the intersection of content, technology, and branding. Content marketing and IP creation are fast becoming essential parts of the media mix.”
Alok added, “Laqshya StoryWorks gives us a creative powerhouse to produce long-form shows, short-form videos, and experiential storytelling that resonate with today’s consumers. It will allow us to harness emerging creative tech to produce compelling narratives for audiences, which in turn empowers our clients to connect with consumers in novel ways. This launch aligns perfectly with our vision of creativity and innovation driving measurable impact for brands.”
The establishment of the studio also extends the group’s existing footprint across OOH, DOOH, digital marketing, experiential, and brand tech. The company said the initiative is part of its plan to build proprietary content assets and generate new long-term revenue streams.
Jalan added, “Ravi’s expertise in driving both branded content and strategic partnerships will help him operate on both sides of the table. With Ravi’s track record of building revenue-focused content ecosystems, we are confident to grow this vertical exponentially.”
Ravi said the launch arrives at a crucial moment for content-driven brand engagement. “Content is the next frontier for brand engagement, and Laqshya StoryWorks hits the mark at just the right time,” he said. “We aim to create content that is not only creatively superb but also backed by strategy and data to deliver measurable outcomes for brands. I’m excited to assemble a talented team and shape this vertical into a market leader in content innovation.”
Kudesia will report to Atul Shrivastava, director and CEO of Laqshya Media Group, and will oversee the formation of a multidisciplinary team comprising writers, editors, producers, designers, technologists, and sales staff. The company said several projects are already in development and will be revealed in due course.
