Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – Tiger Beer has launched a new campaign titled “Brewed to Defy the Heat” across the Klang Valley, combining on-ground activations, street art, and a consumer promotion running through 31 May 2026.
The initiative highlights the brand’s association with tropical climates and social gatherings, and will feature a series of experiential stops across selected locations in the Klang Valley throughout May.
At the centre of the campaign is a customised Kombi van designed in collaboration with Malaysian street artist Kenji Chai, whose character-driven illustrations are incorporated into the vehicle’s design. The Kombi functions as a mobile activation space, where participants can take part in a fast-paced skill challenge during each stop.

The activation will travel to several locations, including Jaya One on 14 May, Damansara Heights on 15 May, Eko Cheras on 16 May, Bangsar Telawi Street on 21 May, Pavilion Bukit Jalil on 22 May, and Changkat Kuala Lumpur on 23 May. The brand said additional stops, including in Johor, will be announced on its social media channels.
Alongside the touring activation, the campaign also includes a nationwide outlet promotion at participating restaurants, pubs, and bars in West Malaysia. From now until 31 May 2026, consumers who purchase Tiger Beer products can submit receipts via a QR code and upload them through the campaign website to receive entries into a prize draw.
Each bucket of Tiger Beer bottles provides one entry, while a set of Tiger Draught or a bucket of Tiger Crystal or Tiger Soju Flavoured Lager provides three entries. Participants stand a chance to win Dyson Air Purifier Fans and Tiger 8L Cooler Boxes.

Julie Kuan, Marketing Manager of Tiger Beer Malaysia, said the campaign reflects the brand’s connection to life in tropical climates.
“Tiger Beer was born in the tropics, and the heat has always been part of life here,” she said. “What stands out is how people continue to show up, come together, and make the most of it, and Tiger Beer has always been there in those moments.”
As part of the collaboration, Chai also created a mural themed around “Brewed to Defy the Heat” in Kuala Lumpur. The artwork is featured in a short film highlighting everyday social moments, such as spending time with friends and extending plans late into the night.
