Bangkok, Thailand – CentralWorld is set to stage a month-long Chinese New Year celebration in Bangkok with the launch of its “The Great Chinese New Year 2026” campaign, running from 30 January to 1 March. An in-person event will also be hosted from 12 to 17 February at CentralWorld Square, showcasing Chinese art and culture.
The festival, held under the theme “Gallop of Tianma: Heaven’s Horse, Heaven’s Fortune’s Rhythm” is organised in collaboration with different public and private sector partners, including the Tourism Authority of Thailand, the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, and the Ministry of Culture.
A large-scale installation of the mythological figure Tianma is among the key highlights of the festival. Other featured activities include a designated worship area, Chinese cultural performances, art exhibitions, and a market for amulets and sacred items. Performances by Thai artists, including an orchestra, are also among the festival highlights.
Throughout the campaign period, shoppers and tourists visiting CentralWorld establishments can access promotional activities tied to the company’s loyalty programme, such as points redemptions and dining vouchers.
