Manila, Philippines — Atome Philippines, a digital financial services platform, has announced its partnership with SEAOIL Philippines, an independent fuel company, to offer fuel savings to its growing cardholders.
Under the first phase of the partnership, more than 300 SEAOIL stations will participate, with plans to expand across the majority of the network in the next phase. The collaboration allows Atome Cardholders to receive up to ₱5 off per litre of SEAOIL fuel products, while cardholders can pre-purchase fuel via the PriceLOCQ app and redeem it at participating stations. Nearly two million Filipinos currently hold an Atome Card.
The partnership arrives at a time when approximately 80% of Atome Cardholders are first-time users, who primarily use their cards for essentials such as groceries, telecommunications, and utility bills. Including fuel payments is intended to provide additional convenience and savings.
Christian Quiros, president and country general manager of Atome Philippines, said, “Our mission at Atome Philippines has always been to make life more affordable and accessible for consumers. With fuel being one of the largest recurring household expenses, our exclusive partnership with SEAOIL provides millions of hardworking Filipinos a smarter and more flexible way to manage their daily living costs.”
Moreover, Jayvee dela Fuente, vice president for corporate and consumer marketing at SEAOIL Philippines, also added, “SEAOIL is committed to uplifting and supporting the everyday lives of Filipinos. Through this collaboration with Atome, we’re giving our customers more flexibility and value for their fuel purchases, helping them stretch their budget further while keeping their lives moving.”
Atome Philippines also recently partnered with Maya Bank on a ₱2.75 billion (US$48 million) loan programme that has served over four million customers in the Philippines.
This partnership is said to reflect Atome’s broader focus on expanding financial access and delivering everyday value to Filipino consumers through merchant collaborations.
