Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia — YTL Group, in collaboration with Sea Limited, has launched Ryt Bank, a fully digital bank powered by artificial intelligence and developed in Malaysia.
The launch positions Ryt Bank as the first AI-native bank created and tailored specifically for the Malaysian market.
“Ryt Bank is more than a financial product. It’s a symbol of Malaysia’s capability to innovate for its own people,” the company said.
Integrated with Ryt AI, a virtual assistant built on ILMU, the AI-powered bank can process user commands in Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Manglish while Mandarin language support is expected in September 2025.
With its AI support, it can perform and assist tasks such as bill payments, fund transfers via DuitNow, expense tracking, and simple financial explanations.
The bank also offers savings options with interest up to 4% p.a. as well as Ryt PayLater for instant credit access and the Ryt Card which is supported by Visa and currently free for users for a limited time.
Licensed by Bank Negara Malaysia and protected under Perbadanan Insurans Deposit Malaysia (PIDM), Ryt Bank integrates AI across its services, including personal banking, savings, payments, and credit.
