Singapore – Amidst continuing its growth in Singapore and the broader Asia-Pacific region, marketing technology developer Broadsign has appointed Veronica Ong as its new sales director in Southeast Asia. She will be responsible for supporting the regional sales team in strengthening Broadsign’s partner offering and growing its portfolio of DOOH clients across the region.

Ong brings with her a strong background in OOH and sales. In her previous roles, she led the team of JCDecaux’s strategic and airport advertising accounts where she collaborated with major global brands buying ad space on the OOH leader’s network. She also managed sales for all media platforms for street furniture, retail malls, cinema, and large format advertising in the Singapore region.

Even before joining JCDecaux, she held a range of sales roles across multiple advertising mediums, including publishing at SPH Magazines in the fashion and beauty division.

Gurgaon, India – Performance marketing company DangleAds has appointed Rakesh Kumar as its newest director of sales, where he will be responsible for building the mobile performance marketing business, as well as being involved in mobile strategy, team development and crafting a roadmap for the growth of mobile business.

The strategic hire in the business team is in line with DangleAds renewed focus on its global expansion and brand building across the digital ecosystem to drive business growth, customer acquisition, product innovation and greater adoption of performance marketing.

Kumar joins DangleAds with over 13 years of extensive experience in digital marketing, content, programmatic, premium audience monetization, and other marketing experiences. Sydney, Australia – Out-of-home (OOH) media company JCDecaux in Australia has promoted Morgan Hannaford and Gemma Watkins to the roles of sales director in the state of New South Wales.

Hannaford will take on responsibility for direct clients and independent agency groups, while Watkins will lead the teams working with global agency holding groups.

Gemma Watkins takes up her role immediately, whileMorgan Hannaford will commence in January 2022 upon her return from parental leave.

Hannaford’s 13 years in media have been aligned to delivering customer solutions in the direct and independent agency space. Meanwhile, Morgan’s flair for collaboration and results has driven key partnerships with the Independent Media Agencies Australia (IMAA), and some of Australia’s biggest brands.

John Harris, who was recently promoted to the role of general manager for sales at JCDecaux Australia, commented, “Gemma [Hannaford] is the ultimate team player, who leads by example. Hong Kong – Following the company’s recent expansion to Australia, global audience and local intelligence company Adsquare has announced that it will now be expanding its presence to Hong Kong. Along with the endeavor, the company has also appointed Melvin Wong to be the company’s sales director for North Asia.

Through his new role, he will lead top-line growth across all company solutions, with direct oversight of the company’s sales and client relationships in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, and South Korea.

Furthermore, he will foster existing relationships and will identify new accounts with a potentially significant impact on Adsquare´s long-term success.

Prior to his recent position, he has worked with global media platform Teads where he demonstrated a progressive 6-year-growth, starting as business developer in New York City to finally become Teads´s first sales manager in Hong Kong. Prior to that, Melvin acted as business developer at programmatic platform Triplelift.
