India – Madison Media, a unit of Madison World, has been appointed as the media agency of record (AOR) for Nexus Select Malls, taking charge of its traditional and digital media strategy.

Nexus Select Malls, India’s first real estate investment trust (REIT), is one of the country’s largest mall operators, housing a mix of national and international brands. With a focus on modern amenities and design, it aims to enhance community engagement and the overall shopping experience. Nexus Select Malls currently operates 18 malls across 14 cities in India.

As part of this mandate, Madison Media will oversee both traditional and digital media for Nexus Select Malls, covering TV, print, radio, cinema, outdoor, digital branding, and activation.

The agency will focus on strengthening the brand’s visibility through targeted marketing strategies, aiming to expand its reach and engagement with key audiences.

Mumbai, India — Media agency Madison Media has appointed Vinit Kumar as vice president of Madison Media Plus, which is based in Delhi. Kumar will report to Abhik Banerjee, COO of Madison Media Plus.

A seasoned professional, Kumar has over 16 years of experience in all facets of media ranging from integrated marketing communications, strategy, digital marketing and analytics. Prior to joining Madison, he worked with Zenith Media, Mindshare, Lintas Media Group and HCL. This will be his second stint with Madison, where previously, he was a general manager in the agency’s Delhi and Kolkata office handling ITC.

Mumbai, India – India’s deemed-to-be university, Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies ((NMIMS), has appointed independent media agency Madison Media to be its new media agency of record. This account will be handled by the agency’s business unit Madison Media Alpha based out of Mumbai.

As part of the mandate, Madison Media will be scaling up NMIMS’ media presence, and generating a higher reach for the institute across the country. It will also handle the University’s traditional and digital media services including visibility in print media and radio.

With over 14 years of experience, Siddharath joins Madison Media with a multi-faceted understanding of content marketing, partnership, and strategic alliances with a sharp focus on client servicing and business development. He has also worked with companies like Endemol, UTV, Viacom 18, and Reliance Broadcast Network, as well as production houses where he has produced big shows. 

Apart from production houses, Siddharath’s exposure ranges from sectors like broadcast, films, OTT, and print, as well as events. Prior to joining Madison, he has also set up his own esports and gaming company Oreka eSports. Siddharath has also worked on brands like Daimler, Ford, HP Laptop, and Hike over the years.

Ramkrishna is a veteran in media and communication planning. She brings with her over 22 years of experience spanning across the Indian and overseas markets.

Through the elevation, Ramkrishna will be overseeing the Kolkata operations of Madison Media, along with her Mumbai set of businesses. She will continue to lead the businesses of fabric manufacturer Raymond, adhesives firm Pidilite, and healthcare company Cipla Health, among others in Mumbai. In addition, Ramkrishna will be managing the businesses of personal care provider Joy Personal Care, commercial bank Bandhan Bank, and cement manufacturer MP Birla Cement in Kolkata, as well as further strengthen Madison’s east region operations.

Prior to joining Madison Media, Banerjee has also worked as the assistant vice president of media at HSBC, the associate director at Mindshare, and the marketing operations executive at Vodafone India.
