Mumbai, India – Cookware brand Bergner India has entered into a strategic collaboration with Sony Entertainment Television’s MasterChef India, where it will serve as the Special Partner for the programme’s forthcoming season.
The partnership aligns Bergner’s focus on cookware design and wellness-led cooking with MasterChef India, one of the country’s longest-running and most widely viewed culinary television programmes. The upcoming season also carries the theme ‘Dynamic Duo. Cooking with Connection’, emphasising family, partnerships, and shared cooking experiences.
MasterChef India will air across 45 episodes and five Masterclass specials on Sony Entertainment Television in both standard and high definition.
Commenting on the collaboration, Umesh Guptaa, managing director and CEO of Bergner India, said, “In a country where food is culture, emotion, and identity, Bergner aims to leverage this partnership to help India cook smarter, safer, and healthier, one kitchen at a time. This collaboration marks a pivotal moment in our journey, and brings our mission of making India a healthier country to the forefront of the nation’s most celebrated culinary stage.”
Umesh continued, “As MasterChef India opens its kitchen to new stories, new duos, and new possibilities, we are proud to power this journey and bring our products into millions of homes nationwide.”
On the other hand, Akshay Agrawal, Cluster Head – Ad Sales, Hindi GEC, added, “MasterChef India has always been more than a show — it is a celebration of passion, ambition and the joy of cooking together. Our collaboration with Bergner India reflects our shared belief that great food is built on trust, precision, and quality.”
Akshay added, “With them as our Special Partner, this season promises to entertain viewers while also inspiring them to cook with more heart and more confidence.”
This collaboration brings together Bergner and MasterChef India around shared themes of cooking, connection, and everyday culinary practice, as the programme prepares to return for a new season on Sony Entertainment Television.
Moreover, Bergner’s association with the show reflects its broader strategy of promoting healthier cooking practices through cookware designed for durability, innovation, and everyday use. The collaboration provides the brand with access to a large national audience through the programme’s television and digital reach.
