New Zealand – Restaurant Brands Ltd has appointed Bastion Aotearoa as the creative advertising agency for KFC New Zealand, as the quick-service restaurant brand prepares for a significant year of marketing activity.
The appointment will see Bastion Aotearoa lead creative strategy and campaign development, with a focus on bold ideas and customer-led storytelling.
Bastion Aotearoa said in a statement, “We are thrilled to share that Restaurant Brands Ltd NZ has appointed Bastion Aotearoa as KFC New Zealand’s creative advertising agency.”
“With a big year ahead for the brand, we’re excited to build on what KFC does best. Big bold creative ideas with customers front and centre,” they added.
Bastion Aotearoa, part of the Bastion network, was formed after Bastion acquired independent New Zealand agency Shine in 2021, initially operating as Bastion Shine.
The agency was recently rebranded as Bastion Aotearoa to reflect its next phase of development, following sustained investment in expanding its capabilities over the past two years.
Meanwhile, earlier this year, KFC Singapore has appointed Maker Lab to lead its integrated and social strategy with KFC eyeing to work with an embedded team of strategists, designers, and performance specialists working directly into KFC’s operations.
