Singapore – Guinness is bringing an extended St Patrick’s Day celebration to Singapore, rolling out three weeks of pub-inspired activations culminating in a major street festival organised with Singapore River One.
Running from late February to mid-March, the programme introduces “The Guinness Hangout” pop-ups at Emerald Hill and Far East Square before building towards the annual St Patrick’s Day Street Festival at Boat Quay.

The campaign aims to bring pub culture beyond bar counters and into the streets, blending Irish traditions with local nightlife.
Visitors to the Hangout pop-ups can expect live music, DJ sets, interactive activities, and complimentary half pints, alongside experiences such as guided two-part pours and a roaming pint parade.

Tanan Tay, head of operations at Que Pasa, No.5 Emerald Hill and Ice-Cold Beer, said, “It’s a big milestone for Emerald Hill. Having Guinness bring St. Patrick’s Day here puts the spotlight on what the precinct does best – creating intimate, community-driven experiences. People want more than drinks; they want atmosphere, storytelling, and moments worth sharing.”
The festivities culminate in a three-day riverside celebration expected to draw tens of thousands of revellers, featuring multiple music stages, Irish cultural performances, and immersive experiences.

Michelle Koh, executive director at Singapore River One, said, “Over the years, the festival has grown from a humble one-day event into an iconic three-day celebration.”
She added, “What makes this meaningful is the vibrant cultural collision. Irish craic meets the Singaporean love for a good makan and social gathering, bridging the two cultures through shared revelry and hospitality. At the festival, the distinction between local and expat blurs into a sea of green jerseys and Guinness pints.”
Additional activities across participating venues include limited-time merchandise and a digital rewards programme, while ride-hailing partner Grab will offer discounted transport to the festival.
