Bangkok, Thailand – Ride-hailing platform Bolt has launched its Driver Creator & Ambassador Development Program, a voluntary initiative offering digital and entrepreneurial skills workshops for drivers using the platform.
The initiative was developed following findings from a survey conducted by the company. According to Bolt, the survey showed that drivers using the platform have developed capabilities such as time management, customer service, communication, and financial literacy through their work. The new programme aims to build on these skills by introducing training focused on digital participation and leadership.
Nathadon Suksiritarnan, general manager at Bolt Thailand, said, “The findings showed us that drivers value independence and are building real financial stability. This program is about the next step, equipping drivers with future-ready skills that support both personal growth and Thailand’s digital economy.”
The programme is four weeks long and is open to drivers who meet basic participation criteria. As part of the initiative, participants will attend workshops covering personal branding, service excellence and leadership, financial literacy and monetisation, as well as ethical and compliant content creation.
Bolt said the programme is designed to support drivers in areas where learning may benefit from clearer guidance and structured training. Through the initiative, the company aims to enable drivers to share their experiences and stories within their communities responsibly while maintaining professional and ethical standards.
“When independent drivers choose to build new skills and expand their opportunities, it contributes positively to the wider digital economy,” added Suksiritarnan.
