Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – Astro has launched a lenticular out-of-home installation inspired by its Astro Originals series “Generasi: Perfect 10” at KLCC Convex Crossing, developed in partnership with Naga DDB Tribal.
Revealed on 13 November, the installation features lead characters Ezie and Victoria alongside the show’s central prompt, “Choose How You Win.” The display is designed to illustrate the drama’s theme of duality by shifting visuals that contrast discipline with desire and integrity with ambition.
As viewers move past the board, the images transition between two opposing visual narratives, reflecting the internal conflicts experienced by characters in the series. The lenticular technique combines multiple images into one surface, creating the effect of motion as the viewing angle changes.
According to Astro, the medium was selected to extend the show’s thematic tension into a physical experience for passersby.
“Astro is always exploring creative ways to bring our stories to life beyond the screen. The Generasi: Perfect 10 lenticular installation does exactly that – it transforms storytelling into an experience, engaging audiences to see and feel the conflict that defines our characters. It’s a bold, innovative expression of what Astro Originals stands for,” said Benjamin Woo, head of group marketing at Astro.
The initiative was developed with Naga DDB Tribal, a long-time creative partner of the broadcaster. “At Naga DDB Tribal, we see ourselves as experience makers – turning ideas into moments that people can see, feel, and remember. For Generasi: Perfect 10, we wanted to take the show’s core theme of choice and bring it off-screen in a way that stops people in their tracks. The lenticular format was the perfect way to make audiences experience the duality and internal struggle of the characters – to make them shift their own perspective,” said Erman Basiron, creative director, Naga DDB Tribal.
Woo added that the installation reflects Astro Originals’ broader aim of innovating in how stories are presented. “This installation is a great example of how compelling storytelling can meet bold creative innovation — proof that great ideas can live beyond the screen,” he added.
“Generasi: Perfect 10”, which premiered in September 2025, follows two young athletes, Ezie and Victoria, as they navigate competitive pressures, mentorship, and moral dilemmas.
