Singapore – City Serviced Offices is overhauling its brand identity, part of a broader attempt to reposition itself in a workspace market being reshaped by hybrid work and shifting tenant demands.
The company has appointed 8traordinary as its branding and design partner, tasking the agency with delivering a new visual identity, refreshed messaging, and a full website overhaul.
Established in 2003 and backed by City Developments Limited, CSO is seeking to move beyond its roots as a traditional serviced office provider, following a workspace revitalisation completed in 2024.
The move comes as landlords and operators across Singapore’s prime districts rethink their offerings, as tenants demand flexibility, shorter leases, and more service-led environments. In a market long dominated by fixed office footprints, adaptability has become the new currency.
CSO’s updated proposition leans heavily on configurable, productivity-driven spaces, alongside access to CDL’s global network.
“Our hospitality-first approach has always set us apart,” said Annie Abraham, Vice President and Head of CSO. “This rebrand captures that spirit ethos while giving CSO a contemporary modern identity that reflects who we are today. We’re delighted to mark this milestone as we enter our next phase of growth and transformation as a premier workspace solutions provider excited to work with 8traordinary to bring this vision to life.”
Beyond physical upgrades, the branding exercise aims to reshape perception.
Located in Republic Plaza, CSO has long catered to a mix of startups and multinational firms, but now faces competition from co-working players and global flexible office operators expanding across Asia’s financial hubs.
“We believe that rebranding is often about building on a legacy, instead of creating a new one,” said Jeffrey Lim, Managing Director at 8traordinary. “Successful rebranding deploys the company’s core values as an authentic starting point, acknowledging its evolution and leveraging its reputation. We’re extremely glad and proud for the opportunity to work with CDL and CSO on this rebranding project to showcase their unique hospitality offerings in this space.”
The refreshed identity places emphasis on customer-centricity and flexibility, reflecting how companies now approach office space less as a fixed asset and more as a service.
