Manila, Philippines — Classic Filipino chocolate brand Serg’s Chocolates announced its return after its temporary halt since 2019.
According to the brand’s social media announcement, they aim to ‘start small’ and will fully share their plan and progress publicly during the first quarter of the year.
“We meant it when we said ‘Serg’s is coming back’ in a Nov 2019 Inquirer article. COVID-19 changed everything,” the announcement read.
The brand also shared that they struggled with the 2024 floods, brought about by Typhoon Carina, which flooded their warehouses and machinery.
This caused the delay of their small-batch setup in 2014, leading the brand to reconsider its return this year.
Serg’s Chocolates also penned their request for their consumers to help regrow the brand.
“We can bring Serg’s back together and keep Serg’s Chocolates as a Filipino family legacy that will stay for generations to come,” they said.
The brand also encouraged its consumers to share their early memories with the chocolate brand by interacting with its social media accounts. The announcement also noted its hopes for a full return in the third quarter of 2026.
