Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – Malaysia Airlines has launched a new global campaign titled “Time for New Chapters”, positioning it around travel planning and new beginnings for 2026.
The campaign, which runs for bookings made from 7 to 20 January 2026, applies to travel up to 30 November 2026. Under the promotion, travellers can access return fares starting from RM159 all-in. Members of Malaysia Airlines’ Enrich loyalty programme will receive priority access to selected fares on 6 January 2026, along with an additional 5% discount on promotional fares. Non-members are also able to sign up during the campaign period to access the same fares and benefits.
The initiative highlights Malaysia Airlines’ international and regional network, including long-haul destinations such as London, Seoul, and Shanghai, as well as regional routes to cities including Cebu, Siem Reap, and Krabi via sister airline Firefly operating from KLIA Terminal 1.
The campaign also incorporates the airline’s Bonus Side Trip (BST) programme, which allows international travellers to add a domestic stopover within Malaysia, featuring destinations such as Penang and Langkawi. This aligns with broader efforts to position Kuala Lumpur as a transit hub in conjunction with Visit Malaysia 2026.
Malaysia Airlines is also promoting enhancements to its onboard experience as part of the campaign. Passengers travelling on the airline’s A330neo aircraft on routes including Tokyo, Bali, Melbourne, Sydney, and Auckland will have access to updated cabin features such as redesigned seating and larger in-flight entertainment screens. Selected aircraft are equipped with MHstudio in-flight entertainment and complimentary Wi-Fi across all cabin classes via MHconnect.
In-flight dining updates are also being rolled out for 2026. From 1 January, the airline’s Best of Malaysia menu features a rotating selection of dishes inspired by different Malaysian states, beginning with Selangor-style offerings such as Daging Semur and Ayam Semur served with Nasi Minyak on selected flights from Sabah and Sarawak to Kuala Lumpur.
In addition, Malaysia Airlines’ year-round Best of Asia menu will feature South Korean-inspired dishes from January to February, followed by Thai-inspired selections from March to April. Menu items include Spicy Gogi Jorim, Dak Bokkeum Tang, Pad Phet Chicken, and Massaman Curry. These dishes will be available on selected regional routes, including flights between Kuala Lumpur, Sabah, Sarawak, and Seoul, across Business Suite, Business Class, and Economy Class cabins.
