Manila, Philippines – AGC Power Holdings Corp. (AGC PHC) has announced the appointment of Monica Ferrer, who was most recently the director at WPP Media (formerly GroupM) in the Philippines, as its new head of partnerships and commercial strategy under the company’s business growth team.
In her new role, Ferrer will be responsible for driving long-term partnerships, spearheading commercial innovation, and enhancing the company’s digital platforms to provide brand partners with more impactful, data-driven engagement solutions across the region.
She will also lead AGC PHC’s commercial growth initiatives, strengthen relationships with agencies and brands, and support the company’s shift toward a more innovative and responsive advertising ecosystem.
Ferrer brings a wealth of experience in media and marketing, with a strong background in partnership development, investment strategy, and aligning client objectives with business performance. Her leadership is expected to help evolve AGC PHC’s digital assets into more dynamic, audience-centric environments that offer greater flexibility and creative opportunities for advertisers.
Her appointment comes at a time when AGC PHC is intensifying its regional expansion efforts. Following the successful launch of VMAN Southeast Asia, the company plans to introduce several more regional media titles over the next three years, creating new avenues for brands to engage with audiences at scale across Southeast Asia and the broader APAC region.
“Monica brings a powerful combination of strategic thinking, deep industry insight, and a track record in building high-impact partnerships. Her ability to connect business goals with execution makes her a key addition as we expand our commercial footprint,” said Randolf Palanca, VP for business growth and strategic partnerships at AGC PHC.
AGC PHC leads a dynamic portfolio that includes media groups One MEGA Group Inc., MEGA Global Licensing Inc., and Modern Media Group Inc. The titles they publish include MEGA, Lifestyle Asia, The Business Manual, Modern Parenting, The GAME, Vogue Philippines, Allure Philippines, Billboard Philippines, Rolling Stone Philippines, Robb Report Philippines, and NYLON Manila.
