Singapore – Delivery platform foodpanda has doubled down on its grocery business with the launch of its private house label, bright, which offers a new and expanded range of high quality and affordable groceries.
foodpanda’s ‘bright’ will offer over 1000 items across three sub-brands: ‘brightfarms’ for fresh produce, ‘brightyums’ for pantry staples and ready-to-eat meals, and ‘brightspots’ for household essentials.
The products under bright can only be bought on foodpanda’s online grocery store, pandamart. It will be available across the region, with Singapore and Malaysia enjoying the widest variety of the products.
The new bright product range follows a successful introduction of foodpanda’s house brand offerings on pandamart, which debuted as brightfields in 2021. The launch of bright is part of foodpanda’s efforts to become the go-to platform for online grocery shopping, especially at a time when customers are increasingly price-sensitive.
foodpanda’s bright promises convenience with high-quality products at affordable prices delivered to consumers within the hour. The bright products are acquired directly from suppliers, making it more cost efficient compared to non-house brand products. Furthermore, the delivery platform shared that they have full supervision of the manufacturing process, implementing strict quality control to ensure that products are up to high standards.
Raphael Zennou, vice president of q-commerce at foodpanda, shared, “The unveiling of bright spotlights our commitment to provide customers with products that they need and love. In fact, every item under the bright label is the result of in-depth research and rigorous testing to ensure our products are high-quality and affordable.”
He added, “We are thankful for our customers’ support so far, and we are confident that they will be more satisfied with the expanded range, as seen by the growing number of repeat customers of our house brand products.”
