Bangkok, Thailand – The Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) has partnered with Hong Kong e-commerce platform HKTVmall to help Thai products gain better access to the Hong Kong market.
The agreement builds on growing e-commerce trends such as influencer marketing and live commerce. The DITP said the collaboration aims to reduce barriers for Thai brands entering Hong Kong, position Thai products as premium offerings, and support more consistent revenue for participating businesses.
“This collaboration is a pivotal turning point. It aligns with the government’s ‘Quick Big Win’ policy, which seeks to seize immediate market opportunities,” said Supaporn Sookmark, deputy director-general of the DITP. He said the initiative intends to strengthen Thai products’ appeal among Hong Kong consumers and deliver sustainable, long-term revenue for Thailand.
The DITP has also held discussions with Dah Chong Hong (DCH) Group through DCH Macau Food Supply. With operations across 30 provinces in China, the DCH Group could serve as a potential partner in expanding exports of Thai produce to the Greater China market.
