PR agency Thrive names two new senior hires for brand reputation team

Australia – The Australia-based independent public relations agency, Thrive PR, has just announced the appointment of two new senior hires for the agency’s specialist business team which is called Business, Purpose, and Brand Reputation.

Spearheaded by Rachel White, Thrive PR + Communications’ head of business, purpose, and brand reputation, the unit and new appointments aim to rev up the agency’s integrated public relations services for clients.

The new hires are Natanael Bloch, the new group account director for Melbourne, and Taryn Silver, the new account manager for Sydney.

Thrive PR & Communications’ Business, Purpose, and Brand Reputation arm offers clients services including business and corporate communication, internal and co-worker communication, and positioning and purpose-led communication, as well as campaigning and activism, and business storytelling and thought leadership, among others.

Bloch has previously worked as the national communications manager at professional association Optometry Australia. Prior to that, he has also worked with business leaders, government, and organizations across Australia, France, and Europe in sectors spanning health, infrastructure, energy, transport, FMCG, and technology.

Meanwhile, Silver has been at Thrive for one-and-a-half years. She first started her career in the United States, where she worked for a New York health care agency across a range of pharmaceutical clients. Her specialties include investor relations, corporate communications and issues, and crisis management.

Commenting on the appointment, Bloch said, “I look forward to helping to deliver Thrive’s business purpose and brand reputation offer, working closely with Rachel and the team, to offer strategic business communication that helps organizations bring to life their values.”

Meanwhile, Leilani Abels, Thrive’s managing director, said, “What this strengthened team brings, is a laser focus on helping organizations build a reputation and brand love so they can grow now and in the future.”

White noted that Thrive provides business services that help communicate strategic organizational narratives with the purpose to build credibility and understanding of an organization.

“The new offer drives a deep understanding of societal trends and movements and helps organizations to contribute to public discourse in a meaningful and credible way,” said White.
