Australia – Nunn Media, the Australia-based independent media agency, has strengthened its planning and client service teams with the appointments of Mitch Hunter as new head of strategy and innovation and Melissa Galanos as new senior account manager at its growing Sydney office.

As head of strategy and innovation, Hunter will harness her expertise in creative planning, communications strategy, and customer experience (CX) to seamlessly integrate every touchpoint of the customer journey, driving optimal results for Nunn Media’s clients.

Hunter brings a wealth of experience from a multi-disciplinary background that spans creative, media, and customer experience (CX). Before joining Nunn Media, she held senior roles at agencies such as PHD, Naked, Apparent, Bohemia, Mojo, and The Core Agency. Throughout her career, she has also collaborated with iconic brands like Vodafone, Coca-Cola, PepsiCo, Tourism Australia, Telstra, and Unilever.

Also joining Nunn Media amidst its recent business growth is Galanos, who steps into the newly created role of senior account manager. With over six years of experience in media, she brings a strong background in planning and buying across both offline and online channels.

Galanos joins Nunn Media after over three years at Slingshot, where she worked with prominent brands such as Universal Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, Australian Pork, Daikin, and Inspirations Paint.

Australia – Public relations agency Red Havas in Australia has appointed Alexandra Bryant, former managing partner and creative principle creative communications and content company Finchco Agency, to assume the newly created role of executive director for the Sydney office. 

Bryant brings with her extensive agency and client-side experience. Prior to joining Red Havas, she has worked with various clients including Westpac, Menulog, and Fujifilm Instax, as well as Mad Mex, and Repurpose it. Bryant has also worked in-house in a range of marketing, communications, and HR-based roles for the likes of Westpac and Colgate-Palmolive.

As the new executive director of the Sydney team, Bryant will be responsible for overseeing the team’s performance, growth, and operations, including driving people and culture initiatives. She will also be leading new business and providing senior client counsel across the agency’s consumer, B2B, and tech portfolios.

Commenting on her appointment, Bryant said that it is such an exciting time to join the business and continue to grow the clients’ brands and strong culture with that signature Red flair.

Sydney, Australia – Publicis Media’s ROI agency Zenith in Australia has promoted Jonny Cordony, former general manager, to the new role of managing director at Zenith Sydney. 

The appointment will see Cordony leading the brand’s vision for the Sydney office, developing high-performing teams, and driving strategic partnerships and growth outcomes for clients.

Prior to his new role, Cordony has previously worked as the national communications planning director for Zenith, and thereafter, became the Sydney general manager of the agency for almost three years. Before joining Zenith, Cordony has held group business director roles at various agencies, including media agency Bohemia Group and dentsu in Hong Kong.
