Singapore – LiveScore Media has announced the appointment of Timothy Oh as regional director for Asia. This marks LiveScore’s first senior hire based in the region in its 25-year history, underscoring the company’s commitment to expanding its presence in Asia and connecting with football fans across the continent.

With over 15 years of experience spanning marketing, business strategy, and commercial leadership, Timothy is a highly regarded leader known for driving growth and delivering impactful strategies. 

He has previously held dual roles at Microgaming as director of growth & marketing and general manager, where he spearheaded market expansion and strengthened the brand’s presence in Asia. 

Timothy’s career also includes campaigns for Sony Pictures TV Networks Asia, where he contributed to the success of iconic series such as Running Man and Death Note. 

This appointment comes as LiveScore continues to build on its established success in the region. Asia accounts for millions of LiveScore users, with its passionate football fan base presenting significant opportunities for further growth and engagement.

Australia – Global adtech PubMatic has appointed James Young, most recently from rival adtech company Magnite, as its new regional director for Australia and New Zealand. His appointment takes effect in September this year.

In his new role, Young will lead the ANZ team, managing strategy, sales and operations for PubMatic in the region, as the company continues to focus on delivering effective, innovative, and responsible media solutions to publishers and advertisers.

Most recently, Young was Magnite’s managing director for Australia. He previously held senior roles with Telaria, The Guardian, and eBay. He is also the co-chair of the IAB Video Council.

Speaking on his appointment, he said, “The ANZ market has enormous potential for growth, and I’m excited that I’ll be part of a company that is at the forefront of the digital advertising industry. I look forward to working closely with PubMatic customers and partners to drive success in the region.”

This new appointment comes after the recent appointment of Sandro Catanzaro as new vice president of product management, CTV, and video.

Austin, Texas – Content experience platform Contentstack has announced the appointment of Jerry Nott as its APAC regional director, which is a first for the company in Australia as Contentstack increases its investment in the region to better serve local customers.

Nott previously served as regional director at Uniform and sales leader at Optimizely, educating and helping customers implement progressive MACH – or microservices-based, API-first, cloud-native SaaS, and headless solutions – technologies. 

He brings more than two decades of experience, including companies such as Salesforce and Sitecore, and will be reporting to Ramon Weterings, vice-president of EMEA and APAC at Contentstack.

Singapore – Advertising company Taboola has announced new appointments namely Robert Perry as regional director for APAC and Adam Payne as country manager for Australia and New Zealand. The new appointments are part of the company’s continued growth in the Asia-Pacific region.

Perry was previously the company’s director of publisher partnerships for APAC. In his new role, he will grow the business in the fast-growing region, focusing on developing Taboola in the Australian, New Zealand, and Korean markets, and support both advertiser and publisher customers.

He brings an extensive amount of experience to the role having worked with Taboola since 2015 and with previous roles including interim VP for APAC. 

Meanwhile, Payne was previously the senior publisher sales manager for Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia. Through his new role, he will manage the growth and retention of agency advertising sales, publisher sales, and existing partnerships. This role will include building out the team further to reflect the country’s continued market growth.

He brings in 15 years’ experience to the role and has worked at Perform Group as ANZ vice president for media sales and both Nine Entertainment and 10 Network in senior sales and marketing roles.
