Australia – Strengthening its decade-long global partnership with LVMH, Formula 1 has announced Moët Hennessy’s luxury spirit, Belvedere, as its first-ever official vodka partner.

Kicking off in Australia, Belvedere will host an official after-party for the ‘Formula 1 Louis Vuitton Australian Grand Prix 2025,’ featuring performances from internationally recognised DJs. Throughout the season, Belvedere Vodka will also be available in hospitality areas such as the ‘Paddock Club’ and ‘F1 Garage,’ adding to the event’s premium experience.

Stefano Domenicali, president and CEO of Formula 1, said, “Formula 1 has always been the symbol of prestige, adrenaline, and spectacle, which is why we are so thrilled to welcome Belvedere as our first Official Vodka Partner. Together we share the same dedication to quality and the pursuit of exclusive moments.”

“This announcement once again confirms the strong connection with LVMH, consolidated by a decade-long partnership. Their willingness to fully embrace the spirit of Formula 1 excites us and makes us proud of this partnership,” Domenicali added.

This partnership marks Belvedere’s entry into global sports, aligning the vodka brand with Formula 1’s international reach. The collaboration aims to enhance the fan experience with unique events and premium hospitality offerings throughout the season.

Francois-Xavier Desplancke, president and CEO of Belvedere Vodka, shared, “I am immensely proud of the partnership between Belvedere and Formula 1. Our mutual dedication to innovation, expertise, and precision naturally aligns our brands, creating a truly exceptional alliance.”

“In the high-octane world of Formula 1®, where milliseconds forge legends and engines roar with untamed energy, Belvedere Vodka arrives not just as a partner but as the embodiment of the festivities and the entertainment. Formula 1® isn’t just about speed; it’s about spectacle. And where there’s a race, there will always be a reason to honour the excitement of the sport, from off track to beyond,” he continued.

In January, Formula 1 announced a ten-year partnership with Louis Vuitton, making the luxury brand the title partner for the season-opening race in Melbourne, now named the ‘Formula 1 Louis Vuitton Australian Grand Prix 2025.’ As part of this agreement, Moët & Chandon returned as the official champagne of Formula 1, with Belvedere later joining as the official vodka partner.

In addition to its partnership with LVMH, Formula 1 has announced several other official collaborations, including a recent agreement with ALT Sports Data as its official betting data supplier and a partnership with global lottery operator Allwyn. Meanwhile, Singapore Airlines has extended its title sponsorship of the Singapore Grand Prix for another four years, securing its role through the 2028 season.

Australia – Louis Vuitton has joined Formula 1 as an official partner, beginning first with their title sponsorship of the Australian Grand Prix–the first race of the year for F1 this 2025 happening on March 14-16–with the event to be officially called Formula 1 Louis Vuitton Australian Grand Prix 2025.

This news follows the recent partnership between LVMH, the brand’s parent company, and Formula 1 as a global partner for 10 years beginning in 2025.

Through this new partnership, Louis Vuitton will be immersed in F1 weekends, including prominent trackside signage – a first for Louis Vuitton at a sporting event. They will also have a key role in celebratory moments such as the opening ceremony and on the podium, where their famous Louis Vuitton Trophy Trunks will be presented to celebrate the top three drivers’ achievements.

The new Trophy Trunks, covered by the emblematic monogram, will be emblazoned with the iconic “V” in a unique local colour scheme for each race against the classic brown background.

It is worth noting that this is not the first time the iconic French luxury brand made an appearance in the Formula 1 tracks, when it developed and presented the first Trophy Trunk, through a partnership with the Automobile Club de Monaco, at the Monaco Grand Prix between 2021-2024. That symbol of triumph has subsequently rolled out across some of the world’s preeminent sports competitions, including football, sailing, and the Olympics.

Moreover, Louis Vuitton’s partnership with Formula 1 is a key element of the global LVMH Partnership, which represents the shared pursuit of excellence at a time when fashion, culture, entertainment, and sports are converging like never before.

Stefano Domenicali, president and CEO at Formula 1, said, “We are thrilled to welcome Louis Vuitton as title partner for our first 2025 race. This is a partnership between two global icons linked first and foremost by their great passion for innovation, excellence and creativity, which makes them two exceptional timeless stories.”

He added, “The entry of Louis Vuitton not only enhances the experience of our sport, but celebrates the union of luxury, craftsmanship, and the highest expression of automotive competition. 2025 will be an epic year for Formula 1 and I am proud to start it with our passionate partners at Louis Vuitton.”

Meanwhile, Pietro Beccari, chairman and CEO at Louis Vuitton, commented, “I am immensely proud of this partnership between Louis Vuitton and Formula 1 with our shared ambition to always strive for innovation, craft, and precision. The synergy of our two worlds is echoed in the savoir faire of our ateliers and garages, artisans, and engineers, while celebrating the outstanding performance of champion drivers around the world who embark on a journey of excellence with every race.”

Singapore – Formula 1 and LVMH have recently signed a 10-year global partnership. As part of the deal, several of LVMH’s iconic Maisons will be involved in the partnership, including Louis Vuitton, Moët Hennessy and TAG Heuer.

The collaboration will focus on creating unique experiences that blend the excitement of Formula 1 with the elegance and tradition of LVMH’s brands.

LVMH will contribute its expertise through exclusive hospitality, custom events, limited-edition products, and engaging content. The partnership builds on the long-standing connection between LVMH and Formula 1, which dates back to the sport’s early days in 1950.

More information about the partnership will be revealed in early 2025.

Greg Maffei, president and CEO at Liberty Media, said, “LVMH and Formula 1 are two global brands that consistently push the boundaries of creativity and innovation, values core to Liberty Media. We were thrilled to work with one of the LVMH Maisons during the Las Vegas Grand Prix last year, and to now expand our relationship with the Group as they become a Global Partner. The opportunity to scale our commercial arrangements is emblematic of the vision we have for Formula 1 as the business continues to grow its platform. We look forward to working with Bernard and Frédéric Arnault in the years to come.”

Meanwhile, Bernard Arnault, chairman and CEO of LVMH Group, added, “The people, the quest for excellence and the passion for innovation are at the heart of the activity of our Maisons and Formula 1. In motorsport as in fashion, watchmaking or wines and spirits, every detail counts on the path to success. Both in our workshops and on circuits around the world, it is this incessant search to break boundaries that inspires our vision, and this is the meaning that we want to bring to this great and unique partnership between Formula 1 and our Group.”

Stefano Domenicali, President and CEO at Formula 1, continued, “Our sport is founded on the relentless pursuit of excellence, a value that also lies at the heart of LVMH, so I am delighted to announce this historic partnership will begin in 2025. As Formula 1 continues its global growth, attracting new and more diverse audiences, the strength and breadth of LVMH makes it the perfect partner for us to work with as we look to continually enhance the experience of our fans and the heritage of our incredible sport. This is a landmark partnership for both companies, and I would like to thank Bernard and Frédéric Arnault for their vision and commitment to bring this to life.”

Lastly, Frédéric Arnault, CEO of LVMH Watches, concluded, “In recent years, Formula 1 has truly become one of the most desirable sports in the world. It’s a vibrant discipline that echoes a number of values that are very important to us, such as innovation, team spirit and performance. For many years, several of our Maisons have also chosen to invest in Formula 1, whether to create unique experiences or for moments of celebration. With our Maisons and the expertise of our Group, we want to further grow this experiential dimension that Formula 1 provides all over the world. We are only at the very beginning of this partnership, but the seasons that await us promise to be extraordinary.”

Singapore – LVMH Group, the global creator of high-quality products, and Alibaba Group, China’s e-commerce and technology firm, have announced an expanded partnership to push the frontiers of luxury experiences in China. This collaboration will take advantage of Alibaba’s cloud technologies and AI-powered advancements in retail and online via Tmall.

The strengthened partnership is a testament to both businesses’ goal of leading retail innovation and providing outstanding, tech-driven luxury experiences. Through this partnership, LVMH will be able to improve its data, omnichannel, and technological footprint in China.

LVMH has started incorporating Alibaba Cloud’s generative AI capabilities, such as Model Studio (Bailian), an extensive AI model-building platform, and Qwen, Alibaba’s proprietary large language model, as part of its innovation quest. The luxury Maison’s dedication to remaining innovative is highlighted by the innovative apps and services that have been made possible by this integration. LVMH wants to drive innovation-driven growth in its global retail businesses and enhance its premium offers for consumers worldwide by utilising technologies.

This partnership extension for an additional five years demonstrates a shared commitment to explore new markets, products, and technical frontiers among the more than thirty Maisons and Divisions located within mainland China and Southeast Asia, including Sephora APAC and DFS. In the future, LVMH will have access to a wider range of technology and tested goods from Alibaba Cloud. In order to better serve the Chinese market, this will improve consumer insights, expedite supply chain management procedures, and further optimise corporate operations.

The announcement of the partnership’s global expansion comes after Tmall was first included in Tiffany’s and Chaumet’s premium retail ventures. Up to now, LVMH has unveiled about thirty esteemed Maisons that are presently collaborating with Tmall Luxury Pavilion to make use of Alibaba’s digital capabilities for captivating experiences, including virtual try-ons, 3D product displays, and live streaming.

Both companies have also increased their cooperation on a number of omni-retail projects, such as membership programs, product launches, digital replicas of famous luxury locations, and one-on-one consultations. Millions of Chinese consumers will now have access to the LVMH luxury experience.

The strategic partnership between the two companies began in 2019. Since then, LVMH has used Alibaba Cloud’s data management tool, Dataphin, to power “LVMH ATOM” China, a platform built by LVMH to provide individualised services to its growing Chinese consumer base. Furthermore, LVMH has used Alibaba Cloud’s machine learning platform, PAI, to create tailored services that respond to the diverse tastes of Chinese consumers across all of its brands.

Speaking about the partnership, Stephane Bianchi, group managing director of LVMH, said, “Alibaba is already a key and valuable partner of our Maisons and the Group. The reinforcement of our partnership with Alibaba aims at helping us accelerate omni-channel business growth and enhancing premium luxury experiences driven by the transformative capabilities of cloud and AI technologies, along with its world-leading expertise in e-commerce operations. Our synergetic and forward-looking collaboration will deliver unparalleled experiences to our global customers throughout their premium shopping journey.”

Meanwhile, Eddie Wu, chief executive officer of Alibaba Group, expressed, “Alibaba is pleased to enable a transformation of the high-end consumption experience with retail leaders like LVMH through our world-class technologies in cloud computing and AI. This comprehensive partnership has elevated the retail experience for LVMH’s customers worldwide, including China-based consumers on Tmall. We look forward to continuing to build on the strong partnership and innovation journey with LVMH.”
