Thailand – vivo Thailand, in collaboration with Grey Thailand, has launched a heartwarming Teacher’s Day campaign that beautifully celebrates the unique bond between teachers and students, captured through the lens of the vivo V40.

The campaign highlights the inspiring story of Teacher Waree, a beloved educator whose unwavering dedication and belief in her students’ potential exemplify the true spirit of teaching.

Equipped with the vivo V40, Teacher Waree captured heartfelt portraits of her graduating Grade 12 students, each image reflecting the unique spirit and potential she sees in them. These cherished photographs are now displayed in a school exhibition.

Titled ‘Always in My Eyes,’ the exhibition, organised by vivo and Grey, illustrates how a teacher’s lens captures the best in their students, while the vivo V40’s camera brings those visions to life with breathtaking clarity. It symbolises the heart of a teacher, guiding students toward a bright future and offering them timeless images filled with hope and encouragement.

In addition to the exhibition, the campaign features a heartwarming documentary by Thai filmmaker Puangsoi Aksornsawan, showcasing the bond between teachers and students in Thai schools. The film offers an intimate look into Teacher Waree’s world, with the vivo V40’s ZEISS-powered portrait capabilities beautifully capturing the emotions and connections at the heart of the story.

“A teacher’s dream is to see their students grow and thrive, to become whatever they aspire to be. And no matter how much time passes, every teacher will always carry love and care for their students,” Teacher Waree shared.

Bangkok, Thailand – K Plus, the mobile banking app of Thai digital bank Kasikornbank, has launched a new campaign with Grey Thailand highlighting ‘the moment of truth’ when it comes to personal finance.

The campaign, featuring a series of 20-second online spots, was launched in line of K Plus’ three new features – My Budget, My Asset and My Investment. The move aims to help Thais gain stronger financial health in key aspects of financial management, including budgeting, planning and investing.

The ads depict common financial hurdles people face today – living paycheck to paycheck caused by impulse spending, clouded judgment on financial planning and investment hardship due to fragmented platforms. These three emotional insights were spotlighted to support K Plus’ new features.

“Raw emotions play a significant role in financial decision-making. Thus, recognizing and managing emotional triggers is essential for making rational financial decisions and achieving long-term financial stability,” said Sompat Trisadikun, chief creative officer at Grey Thailand.

The campaign launch comes at a time when the current economic climate in Thailand is fragile, with the nation’s household debt ratio of 90% of GDP, one of the highest in Asia. Many households and individuals are having trouble servicing their loans and debts, which threatens economic stability.

Thailand – State-owned Thailand Post has released an online film in collaboration with advertising agency Grey Thailand in an effort to shift its vision from a postal service provider to an information logistics company able to undergo digital transformation. The film also expresses the company’s 141 years of operations as a competitive edge rather than a disadvantage amid the increasing need for technological efficiency.

Inspired by a true story, the three-minute film titled ‘You’re My Destin(y)ation’ adopts a humanistic approach as it tells the story of a young man who found new opportunities to reconnect with his grandfather after receiving a parcel shipped from him.

Charged with visual metaphors, the film also portrays Thailand Post’s growth and its new beginning through the miniature bonsai being taken care of by the young man.

The campaign’s key visuals also show the company’s shift from using animated figures to realistic design, incorporating natural colours and elements aimed to invoke emotional ties with its viewers.

“For a complex topic, visual metaphors can be a powerful tool to help convey complicated ideas in a more relatable way. At the same time, key visuals can also be effective with minimalistic design to simplify human recognition in a too-much-information world,” Thanyaluck Pongacha, creative director of Grey Thailand, said.
