Manila, Philippines — Lennon Group has appointed Emmy-nominated filmmaker and producer Quark Henares as its Chief of Content & Storytelling, as the creative studio strengthens its leadership team and expands its focus on narrative-driven work.
In his new role at Lennon Group, Henares will oversee narrative development, production, and supervision across campaigns, branded content, initiatives, and partnerships. The appointment forms part of the agency’s continued focus on what it describes as “HumanKind Creativity”, aimed at creating culturally resonant storytelling for brands and organisations.
“Quark is one of the country’s most admired creative leaders. He’s a special kind of talent with the ability to create work that resonates with audiences and shapes culture, and that makes him the very best for this role,” says Raymund Sison, Founder and CEO of Lennon Group. “And with his experience in film, streaming, and content, we’re excited to see how his creative leadership will impact the work we do for our brands, partners, and community.”
“I have nothing but love and respect for Kim, Raymund, Rizza, and the Lennon Group, so I jumped at the opportunity to join such brilliant and wonderful people,” said Quark, commenting on his new role. “Also, with the world becoming what it is, I just want to work with decent people dedicated to making a difference, and that’s what Lennon is.”
Lennon Group describes itself as a HumanKind creative studio comprising Lennon Creative, Sgt. Pepper, and Lennon For Good, with a focus on storytelling and socially impactful creative work for brands, organisations, and institutions.
Henares is known for his work in film and television, with his projects receiving international recognition, including an Independent Spirit Award nomination for ‘Leonor Will Never Die’ and an Emmy nomination and Venice Golden Cup win for ‘On The Job’.
Beyond filmmaking, Henares has held leadership roles across the media and entertainment industry, including as Executive Director overseeing Globe Telecom’s studio businesses (Globe Studios, ANIMA, and Secret Menu), and as Head of Originals, Philippines, for Amazon MGM Studios. He recently returned from Singapore, where he directed branded content series such as ‘Home Run: Singapore’ and co-founded SAYA, a commercial strategy and operations consultancy.
