Australia – DoubleVerify has appointed industry veteran Robert Millett as business director in Melbourne, marking its first hire in the state of Victoria as part of its broader expansion across Australia and the Asia-Pacific region.
Based in Melbourne, Millett will oversee existing client relationships while driving business growth in the Victorian market. His appointment comes as DoubleVerify continues to scale its APAC operations, following the launch of its Malaysia office last year.
Millett previously served as head of digital at Starcom in Melbourne, where he spent nearly a decade.
“I’m incredibly excited to be DV’s first hire in Victoria and to lead our expansion in this vibrant market. My focus will be on ensuring our local partners can leverage DV’s cutting-edge verification and performance solutions,” said Millett.
He added, “As the digital landscape across multiple platforms evolves rapidly, ensuring media transparency, quality and effectiveness is more critical than ever. I can’t wait to work with local partners and brands to leverage DV’s cutting-edge verification and performance solutions to drive superior results from their digital investments.”
Further strengthening its Australian presence, DoubleVerify has also made four additional appointments: Joseph Wilson and Josephine Driscoll as integrated solutions directors, alongside Thanik Asawasirisilp and Vikrant Bhalerao as senior account managers. The expanded team is intended to enhance the company’s ability to deliver AI-powered optimisation, measurement and automation for agencies and brands.
“As APAC’s digital ecosystem grows at an unprecedented pace, advertisers are looking for trusted partners who combine global technology leadership with local expertise,” said Mark Zagorski, CEO of DoubleVerify. “Our expansion across the region ensures brands have the technology, insights and support needed to drive clarity, confidence and stronger performance from their media investments.”
DoubleVerify’s growth in Australia has been supported by partnerships with brands and agencies, including Colgate-Palmolive Australia, which has used the company’s pre-bid brand suitability controls to improve media quality across video advertising campaigns.
The company has also highlighted recent product developments such as the rollout of DV Authentic AdVantage™ and its acquisition of marketing attribution firm Rockerbox. In December, DoubleVerify announced it had worked with consumer health company Haleon in Australia,.
“Australia’s vast geography creates distinct advertising markets across states, each with unique regulatory requirements and media consumption patterns,” said Conrad Tallariti, managing director, APAC at DoubleVerify. “DV’s state-level geographic capabilities help brands address regional market complexity—particularly in highly regulated categories— while optimising media performance across fragmented markets. With Robert’s proven expertise in digital strategy, we’re well-positioned to deliver even greater value to Australian advertisers navigating this complexity.”
